Any Problems Booking a Studio at BWV on the Weekends in October

I am considering adding a weekend stay at BWV during F&W in October (2010). Has anyone had problems booking the weekends at 7 mos. during that time period?

I can't help you..never tried, but that would be one of the types of vacations that will need fewer points in 2010 than in 2009.

You could always try this year at 7 months to book what you need...just see if available, that may help. I have the last weekend this September booked at BCV, and at 7 months, I'm trying to decide if I should try to book BLT (any view at all) for what may be my "easiest" stay to book there, since it is for the weekend. However, with F&W, even though I'm not a big fan, I hate to give up the proximity to Epcot, hence, I'm torn.

Hi Ms. Bobbi! Yes, thats a good idea. It will at least give me an idea of availability. I know weekends are supposed to be easier, but during F&W, well that may be an exception. Please report if you do stay at BLT!

I was shut out of a boardwalk view for Thursday 10/8/2009 two hours into the 11 month window - I waitlisted. I called back the next day and was able to get the weekend (Fri & Sat) without a problem. I wonder if the lower point weekends will impact that at all. FWIW - standard view was available. One last thing - this weekend is Columbus Day weekend so it may be in higher demand.

Hopefully, its just the Epcot resorts, and not DVC as a whole. I know October is very popular...I wouldn't mind staying at SSR if thats all thats left. I just hope I can get something ( Fri, Sat, Sun)!
