I'm in the process of bidding for our upcoming trip. We're hoping to get a RESORT hotel. Here's my question.... Since very few zones include RESORT hotels, it's my understanding that we have lots of rebids. However, quite a few zones go up to 3* hotels. Is there any chance priceline would accept a 3* hotel for us.........even though we specified a RESORT hotel? Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I just don't want to include a zone in my rebid that is 25 miles away only to get it accepted. Thanks for any input!

Nope they won't go lower on your request. They will sometimes upgrade you.
I use the www.biddingfortravel.com hotel listings to help me do my zones and that has worked very well so far.
