Any Powerpoint experts out there?

Please help if you can! My 17 year old dd is in charge of making a year-in-review slide show for her class. Using photos and text is no problem. The problem comes when we try to add music. All our music files are mp3's and our powerpoint program will not let us insert them. Can anyone help us? TIA!

Will it let you use .wav files? If so, you can convert MP3s to .Wav format...there are converters specifically for this.

I think it will let us use wav files. How do we get the converter? Is it downloadable or something I need to buy?

A lot of times you can download free trial ones from download.com I'm assuming you'll probably only need it long enough for this project.

Do you have a microphone for your computer and windows movie maker? When I had powerpoint back in HS, to put music in the program, I'd take the class microphone, hold it between the speakers and record the music onto the computer (we weren't allowed to download them).


Also, check download.com for programs to convert.
