I managaed to get a wii but I dont know what I need to buy as far as accessories. Do I need a second remote? I have read something about another kind of remote? Anyone played it already? What do I need?

yeah, you pretty much will need a 2nd remote and nunchuck which are of course mostly sold out everywhere - and you thought the hard part was over. :rotfl2:

Don't fret though. It is playable with just one remote and nunchuck, just not by two people at the same time.

This was exactly the thread I was going to send you to as it was started by my wife...with tons of the info from me! As I was the one that went and stood inline for 12hours for a presale a month before the system released So I could play it!((to bad she took it over of like the first week!)) I am also the one with most all the answers to any videogame question you may have. So if that thread doesn't answer it for you pm me and I'll help you out.

as for extra Wiimotes(and nunchuck attachemnt) you can go to almost any store...Target, walmart, best buy, toys r us, gamestop, even my local cd/vidoe game exchange store carries them..I saw them today while out x-mas shopping at 3 of the stores I went to...Target and my cd exchange had the most.

In addition to an extra control/nunchuck, if you are going to play a lot of Virtual Console games, you will probably want a Classic Controller as well. Most (but not all) VC games can play with the regular remote on it's side, and some can play with a Gamecube controller, but it just feels awkard. The Classic Controler is designed for these games, so getting one would be a plus if you decide to play a lot of games on it.
