Any parades not worth seeing?

Many of the parades are mid-day when I would like to be back to the resort resting/pool.

Are they all great or are any worth missing?

I don't particularly care for the AK parade. don't miss the spectromagic though.

not really a parade but the new high school musical thing they were doing in February was craptacular.

I won't miss the 3 pm parade at Magic Kingdom...It always keeps the magic flowing and tears at times...

I'm not a big fan of the AK parade either. I agree on don't miss SpectroMagic- to me that parade IS Disney.

Go to Disneyworld.com then click on Calendar- Find the day you're looking for along with which park and it will give you all the info on whats going on at the park that day.

The AK parade does nothing for me but it's a great time to get in another ride on Expedition Everest!

I haven't yet seen the current MK parade as it was still the one with the snowglobes on our last trip. Same for Block Party Bash at the studios.

As far as daytime parades, if I've seen them once I'm ok with skipping it but I would never skip Spectromagic no matter how many times I've seen it.

Another vote for AK-it is boring to my family. Again we don't miss Spectro. The parade at MK during the day is ok as well as at DS.

I don't care much for the AK parade either, my husband and children think its ok, but not one we see every trip. Heck, we don't even go to AK every trip...too boring!

OK. Just curious. I havent seen it yet. I'm going in August (during Free Dining - yay!) and have two daughters 5 and 2. I would like to be out of the sun and in a pool during parade time but feel compelled to stay for the parades so we "don't miss anything". We're going to see the MK afternoon parade for sure and the Hollywood Studios parade.

My question is... what's not so interesting about the AK Parade?

We are fans of Jungle Book.. are there JB characters in the parade? I'm starting to think this parade might be one we might want to skip!?!?!

The animal kingdom parade i would miss as well, along with the new block party bash, but if you do see the block party bash, be sure to be in the beginning of the parade route because if you are not, you will be stuck. This parade goes in stages through it's route, it will stop for up to 15 minutes to interact with guests, while that is very nice, if you are at the end of the route you could be waiting up to an hour just to see the 15 minute parade. Also, the Block part Bash only has like one character per float, so if you want to see the characters this is not the parade for you.

About the only mid-day parade that we care for at all is at the MK. Even that one we pass up more frequently than we actually go on any given trip.

We don't care for the 3:00 parade at MK or the HSM show. We love all of the other parades, but have yet to see Block Party Bash, but it doesn't look appealing to me.

SpectroMagic is not to be missed, though.

We love the AK parade, especially when they add the Christmas overlays. It is exciting and kinda makes you want to get up and dance. Yes, the JB characters are in the parade. The big animals that are "chracterized" by the CM's are different and very interesting to see. This parade isn't just all floats with characters, many of the characters are walking and will stop to see the children along the route. It is very upbeat and fun.

As I said in my PP, we don't love the MK parade, but will see it one day when the little ones are there, but when we go on a normal trip, this is the one we miss. I don't think we are going to like the Block Party Bash, but again when we go with the little ones, we will see it for them, cause one is a big Toy Story fan.

Spectro is my favorite, though.

The AK parade is my favorite!!! I would check out as many as you can before you write off any parade in particular. Everyones opinions are different!!!
