I am catching up on all the new things happenning and as a Florida resident (native I might add) I am thinking that there really is NO added benefits for being a resident....well, seasonal passes....
it seems all the things offered to us as a "Florida" resident are also offered to AP holders....
we should get some additional benefits for all the additional tourism we have to fight.......
not trying to start a debate or anything, but it just doesn't seem fair.

I will say that we have lived here 8 years, and just recently have we been forcing ourselves to leave the state for vacation. It's just so much easier to travel within the state, but we now feel like we are missing so much of what this World has to offer. My family definitely spends much more money at WDW & Universal, than we would if we weren't a Fl. resident. When we want a weekend getaway, WDW/Universal gets our money. When we plan a 2 week stay, it's just so convenient to drive an hour and park the car, and not worry about driving for 2 weeks. Again, WDW/Universal gets our money. I'm all up for everyone saving money, but please don't belittle anothers feelings. JMO
