Good luck Christal! Sounds like you are in the right hands, now! Sending lots and lots of good thoughts your way.

Savannah's Mom - I am pretty sure an u/s would detect a cyst, but I have also heard of them shrinking, so maybe not. Ask the tech (and your doctor) if you have polycyctic ovaries (lots of old cysts on them). It is an indication that you might have PCOS, which may be a barrier to conception.

Good luck!

Denae

Thanks for the well wishes, Denae!

Savannah'sMom - I would definitely bring the pain to your doc's attention, but don't worry about it too much. I was diagnosed a while back with a couple of cysts on my left ovary, and a fibroid in my uterus. I can tell you that those things can make ovulation and AF more painful. I had several days of pain with ovulation, and more severe cramping with AF.
But when I had the procedure done last month, they were going to remove those things as well as the Endo. But when they got in there, the cysts and fibroid were gone! My OB said she thinks that the cysts just dissolved and that I must have passed the fibroid. So I wouldn't worry too terribly much about it, but get it checked so that you can rule out anything that could hinder your ability to conceive. Good luck to you!!

Hi everyone! I was just checking in to see how everyone was. I haven't been on in a while. Congrats Tasha, I'm due June 8th!

Oh, wow, that's awesome!!! I am so excited for you!! :cheer2:

Denae~ Thanks for asking about me. Actually, morning sickness started for me on Halloween (of all days...and that is also the day dh and I had our first date 9 years ago as well). I did not have m/s with my dd so this is definitely a new experience for me. I feel okay today but I'm sure that won't last.

Good luck to everyone! I hope to see more BFPs soon!

Ugh, this sucks.. I'm oficially in the 2WW.. I'm getting a progesterone test on Monday. I just don't 'feel it'...
This was a wierd clomid cycle. My temps were all screwed up, but I def know I ovulated, cause I got the LH OPK turn dark, pain on my ovary, higher temps now, but I hardly had any CM :( so I doubt I will be pregnant. My bbs started hurting literally the day after I ovulated, which never happens, so that was probably the clomid. I just hope I had a good ovulation, because that might be the problem with my miscarriages...
I can have a perfecty awesome cycle one month (last month my progesterone was 19.3 unmedicated!!!) and the month before was so screwed up..
Please say prayers for me!!!;)

DznyLur, I'm sending lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: and prayers for you, hopefully AF stays far, far away. :goodvibes

Well, my Dr. did the u/s yesterday and I definatly have PCOS, so it's back on BC until Feb. It really does explain alot thou, my hair has been falling out and the skin on my face is horrible. OK, i'm going to vent for just a bit so please bear with me:
Why is it that when people in your family have something that could/is genetic, why don't they tell us. I have been diabetic for 6 yrs now, no one told me anything before then, after being diagnosed I find out that it runs on my DDad's side of the family and that my DMom and her family are pretty sure that their Dad had diabetes. My mom is now pre-diabetic and her sister is diabetic. Now, after being diagnosed w/PCOS my mom tells me that it runs in her family, her and her 3 sisters all have/had them. Thanks for telling me mom!!!!

Ok, vent over, thanks for listening.:rolleyes1

I have to say congratulations Tasha on your new baby. I know we don't know each other but when I first joined the Dis boards, one of the first posts I read on here was yours.

I have been pregnant 4 times, and had several chemical pregnancies. The only reason I knew to test is because I swear the day after conception, my bbs started hurting (the nipples, especially). My mom had the same symptoms. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Oh dear. At least they have some indication now of what might be causing your problems, and if you do have lots of trouble conceiving, they will have a good starting point for treatment.

:) ya know... this is the same thing that happened the first time I was pregnant. I won't get my hopes up though...
Every month they don't start hurting until at least a week before AF. This is odd. It's probably because I took the clomid this month.

Mine hurt without Clomid, and didn't necessarily hurt with it unless there was a chemical PG, which happened several times.

I went to the doctor today that did my surgery last week. In case anyone missed the reasoning-I had an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured last week, the fetus was in my fallopian tube . I had an emergency surgery because of internal bleeding. He said that as soon as my DH and I are ready, we can start TTC anytime we want. We figured we would start trying again in January that way I give my body and emotions plenty of time to heal.

When they did the surgery they removed my right fallopian tube. But the doctor said that won't lessen our chances to get pregnant. So here's pixie dust to all of us ladies. I'm finally getting my mind set to where I'm ok with losing this baby. It was necessary for me to be living and I know we're going to have a baby soon enough. Good luck ladies. :wizard:

Wait you are saying that they hurt only when you had chemical pregnancies! Well that's not a good sign then, I already had two miscarriages :sad2:

But now that I'm thinking about it...
My first pregnancy I had the bbs hurting right after O and that was a blighted ovum at 10 weeks. My second was a chemical pregnancy and My bbs hardly hurt at all. I guess everyone is different.
I'm so scared. I always hope in the back of my mind that I don't get pregnant, because I just can't handle it.

Dznylvr, I think Denae was saying the only times she had the sore bbs/nipples was when she was pregnant. Not just a chemical pregnancy. The first pregnancy I had soreness. The 2nd I didn't at first, but after my D&C I had none of the same symptoms for PMS as I used to.
As for feeling scared, I know that feeling all too well. I'm not sure I will willingly ever do this again.

Lauren good luck to you  I had a friend who just went through something similar not too long ago. I hope you are able to get pregnant again soon.

Oh, wow! Thank you! Well, I hope it was a decent post you read then! ;)

Lauren~ I am so, so sorry! I hope that you will get another BFP soon after you guys start trying again.

Dznylvr~ I have never used Clomid so I can't say anything about that one way or another but one of my very first symptoms when I was pregnant with my dd was the extremely tender breasts. I was like Denae and it started probably from the moment of conception. This time it took me until this week to notice any tenderness and they are not nearly as bad as they were last time. I guess the m/s I have this time is making up for that!

Elaine~ I seem to have a lot more miscarriage fears this time. I am taking it day by day but I will not be able to relax until I at least see an u/s or hear the hb and even then I will probably still have that worry in the back of my mind for a while. I was not nervous with my dd but I am this time for some reason. I can honestly say that I am 99% sure this will be the last time we do this as well...as long as we have a healthy baby this time that is...and I am of course hoping and praying really hard for that!

I am too insane to TTC!!!!
I'm constantly making sure the symptoms are still there and then sometimes they aren't, then I'm alreayd thinking that I'll have another m/c and even if I was going to be pregnant, I'm not even pregnant yet!!!!
I am too crazy for this!! I'm constantly poking at my bbs.. grrr and today they don't feel like they did yesterday....
I need help! :rotfl:
Speaking of needing help...
I called a therapist (hubby keeps telling me to call cause I drive him insane with my dwelling on the past m/cs) and left a message and no one has called me back! Every therapist I called had an answering machine, no live people. i dont understand:confused3

Well, no o for me this month on my first round of 50 mg Clomid. I was holding off getting my Clomid for next month, but when I started getting cramps today on day 31, I went out and filled the prescription. My dr is bumping me up to 100 mg Clomid days 4-9. Ugh, I can almost feel the hot flashes already!

This whole process is starting to stress me out again, even though I was really trying to tell myself I wouldn't let it this time around.

Lots of baby dust for all of us! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

THis is so wierd...
Well, I oficially don't have the symptoms that I had a few days ago.. My bbs are back down to normal size and don't hurt anymore... lol
But my temp has gone up. I don't get it. If your temp goes up after O because of progesterone in your body, why would the other symptom go away? I thought sore bbs were also a symptom of having progesterone in your body. Well my temp was really high today... 98.5, it's never that high, but I really think it's all the progesterone in my body from the extra boost from taking the clomid.
I read waaaaaaaaaay too much into this stuff....
How's everyone today? Everyone must be busy.. no posts :confused3 :)

I have had some (what I think are) symptoms: sore bbs, tiredness, gagging at every smell that wafts my way, and today in the car I was thinking about a cat I had when I was eight and cried uncontrollably for half an hour! Zoinks! I am hopeful, but trying to remain optimistic. It is taking every once of willpower I have not to test!

I'm just starting to remember how much i hate temping!!!!! This crazy chart thing looks like one of those sine waves we learned about in calculus. There's no rhyme or reason to the silly thing.... Oh well, I'm on CD 35, couldn't even begin to figure if I actually O'd or not.

This whole thing is frustrating! Why can't we just fill out an application when we want a baby, get put on some sort of list, and when you're at the top of the line, then BAM - you're pregnant. :)

I hear ya!! This morning my temp went back down to 97.9 :confused3 I DON"T UNDERSTAND! Yesterday morning it was 98.5! I hope this doen't mean that I had a 'bad ovulation' I'm on clomid and it shouldn't happen!!!! I'm at 6dpo today. My progesterone test is scheduled for tomorrow.
I hope you figure out if you O'd or not. Maybe request a progesterone test if you really want to know :)

Well, just thought I'd check in today. I'm 12dpo today, and still no real symptoms, but no AF. I had the cramping from 4-9dpo, and then it tapered off. Today I just feel really cruddy and tired (but it's rainy outside so that may be contributing), and a little crampy like AF is going to be here.

I broke down and tested on Saturday (10dpo), and got a BFN...So I'm not too terribly optimistic. But I'm determined to wait until Wednesday to test again. If I'm not pregnant this time, I'm not really too terribly disappointed.

And this is going to sound sick...but I actually enjoy doing the Clomid, the HCG shots and the progesterone. For 2 reasons: It makes the baby-making time more interesting and makes it seem to go by more quickly (until the 2ww that is...then it just CRAWLS!). AND, it makes me feel like we are more in control of the proccess.

So anyway, that's where I am right now. Hoping for a BFP on Wednesday, but expecting AF any time now...

Good luck and baby dust to all!!! :wizard: And hang in there, all you other 2WW'ers! :thumbsup2

Well, guys I'm feeling a much much better after my miscarriage a few weeks ago. Thank you for the well wishes and personal pm's I am touched. I didn't think I was ready to 'go at it again' but my doctor said two weeks so DH and I are trying again. Because I had a 'complete miscarriage/abortion' and no D & C was neccessary my OB said give it 2 weeks. Yeah I'm taking my Geritol yes once again. I switch off every other day with prenatals and he put me on Iron supplements (my Iron was scary low) We will see!!! Fingers crossed!!! Regardless of what happens, DH and I are having a ball!!!:cloud9:

I am a little nervous about not having a cycle before trying, but my doctor said it was okay.
