Sorry. I really blew it.

To all you ladies out there, each and every one of you, I apologize for my stupidity and wish you all very well. What a stupid thing for me to do in my excitement, I NEVER meant to harm or upset anyone. I don't know what else to say.

Blessings to each and every one of you. I hope all your prayers are answered.

Well, just got back from my doctor’s appointment. He said that there was a LOT of endo, and that I had two options. I could either start treatment for the next 6 months or so and avoid trying to get pregnant to help keep it away, or we could TTC right away since he cleared everything out. I opted for the TTC right away, and he said he felt it was an *excellent* idea :) :)

Soooo….he did the usual not so fun exam and said that everything is perfect and I’m healing nicely. The pain I’m feeling in my side is just leftover from the trauma of the surgery, so if it gets worse, he told me to call or email him right away.

He then gave me a little tip about TTC. He said to start taking the OPKs and when it starts to show that I’m going to ovulate soon, start the BD then. He said if you BD on the day you ovulate it can be too late. He also recommends that NO lubricant is to be used, with the exception of Pre-Seed or mineral oil, as everything else kills the little buggers.

I did tell him about the EWCM last week and he was very excited ;) I said it was like a floodgate had opened up and it was making up for lost ovulation time, and he laughed and said he sort of agreed. He also said as soon as I get pregnant, call him and he’ll have me come in as a walk in for progesterone shots to make sure everything goes okay.

He’s a big Superman fan, too, so I gave him two new Superman trade paperbacks that he didn’t have as a gigantic thank you. He was ecstatic and gave me a gigantic hug, and said that he has a very positive feeling I’ll be pregnant soon. WOOHOO!!

I am so happy to have found this thread! I have never even popped onto the Community Board until yesterday. I am trying to the pass the time until I can take pg test. I spent 3 hours this morning reading through a majority of the posts on this thread and am very inspired and proud of all your personal struggles. What inspiration you have given me today! :grouphug:

:cheer2: You go, girl!

Welcome TinkerChell, hope you get your BFP soon! When can you test?

Hi Denae! AF is due Monday 5/21. I am nervous about taking an early pg test. A friend of mine got a BFN when she used an early pg test but ended up being pregnant. I am 36 and my partner is 30 and we only have enough funds to try for a few months! Is it better to get the dissappointment over with or wait for AF? The waiting is driving me mad! I do not have any symptoms at all; so I expect it to be negative!

Gurgi, that's awesome news! I guess it's time to get going. :goodvibes

TinkerChelle, I didn't have any symptoms at all either. In fact, I had cramps and spotting. I told DH to get me the test so I could get the negative and have a mudslide. Imagine my shock when that 2nd line popped up. So, it's not over 'til it's over.

Thanks for the encouragement Carla! That is so nice to hear. Bye the way, I am a huge M knight fan. I assume u are too!

Hi all,

Nicole did you enjoy your mushroom soup rice?

Thanks Rebecca!!

SDFgirl...thanks for stopping by and for the cheers.

Gurgi that is awesome news!! Have a TON of fun TTC!!! That's super cool that you gave him Superman trade paperbacks. I'll bet you're his favorite patient :)

TinkerChelle...welcome to the group. I hope you get that BFP very soon!

I went to the grocery store yesterday and while I was there I ordered my pack of BC pills from the pharmacy. I still think it's funny how they give ya BC pills for IVF when they know you can't get pregnant on your own. I'm supposed to start taking them as soon AF shows up again.

Yeah Gurgi!!!! Sounds like your good to go :cool1: Have fun!!!

TinkerChelle: :welcome: I have recently decided that it is better to wait until AF is late to test. I think it would hurt more to go through what Allison went through last time with a chemical pregnancy/early m/c. I used to POAS all the time starting at 10dpo but I just can't stand seeing the BFNs anymore. After talking with my Dr about my frustration she said don't test unless I make it PAST 14dpo...so far that has not happened.

I wish you the best and hope this is your month for that wonderful BFP!!!

Oh...and I lost 19 pounds from April 1st to now :) Woot and a woot :)
Woo hoo!!!! That is awesome!!! Oh and oops on getting the date wrong of your appt (me that is). I never claim to have half a brain anymore. I am glad everything went well though and I hope you have great luck next month!!!

TinkerChelle, welcome to the group!!! I had very little symptoms with this pregnancy, though the one before that I had tons of symptoms I ignored. I didn't even get really sore bbs until about 7 weeks into it (unlike the miscarriage I had them 2 days after conception). My only real ones this time were increased CM and being a real witch. My bbs were very very very slightly sore which made me test (they hadn't been since the D&C). Of course I only noticed the slight soreness when my cat was walking on my chest ;) So you never know with symptoms.

I find that amusing too Kristy. Though I was just thinking about the GA spin off and how the little sex-aholic as they called it got pregnant on her own right before the transfer. I wonder if it were RL if that could've happened :rotfl:

I realize I am skipping over a lot... I was up at 5 am this morning for no reason and jsut as I fell back asleep my dad called... so I am pooped. I did just get our tickets for PotC3 though :hyper:

Elaine I was wondering the exact same thing when I watched the show. I'm sure she would have been taking shots to get ready for the transfer and if that's so I would assume that she could have gotten pregnant with more than one..now that would have been an interesting story (if it's at all possible).

Gurgi...Woo Hoo!! I hope you get that BFP soon!! You deserve it, girl!

Tinkerchelle...Welcome! I know the girls on here have been a lifesaver for me! :goodvibes As far as testing goes...it's a hard decision to make. I used to test early. But then in April, I got two BFP on CD 31, two BFN on CD32, and then three BFP on CD33. But then on CD34 I started bleeding. I had a chemical pregnancy, which is a very early miscarriage. If I had not tested so early, I never would have known...I just would have thought my period was late. I took it REALLY REALLY hard that month...MUCH worse than getting just a BFN. After that, I promised myself that I would not test until I was at least a week late because I can't go through that again. It was just too hard.

As far as symptoms..you just never know. When I was pregnant with DS, I didn't know it until I was 7 weeks along. I thought I was tired and late due to stress. I never had morning sickness, never had sore bbs, etc. Every pregnancy is different, even for the same person! Good luck!

So last night DH wanted to try the grapefruit juice. I gave him a small glass (less than 1/2 the size of mine) and he couldn't do it! LOL! He actually gave it to the dog...Milo kept licking, but it was very slowly and you could tell he didn't really care for it. We also gave some to DS. I SO wish I would have had the video camera on him...his face was priceless! LOL! It's actually getting better for me. That initial sip is still rough, but it's not too bad. HOpefully it works! DH made the mistake of asking what it was for...he's not very into talking about CM. LOL! Doesn't exactly get him in the mood. :rotfl: He was totally confused about my taking the grapefruit juice and mucinex at the same time. I tried to explain, but he didn't want to hear it after the first few mentions of CM!

allison

Oh, Allison...my DH is the same way. I started describing things to him about the mucus, and he started to turn green. LOL.

2be: I don't know if I'm his favorite patient or not...but there are advantages to working with him; I don't have to pay a cent for any of my visits! WOOHOO! :)

Tonight I went to DH and told him the doc said we "had to get it on" now and the look he gave me was pretty funny. He wanted to know why the doc was so interested in our sex life, and I said that it was his job. HEHEHE!

Suzanne - :grouphug: I don't kow what to say but I really am thinking of you.

Meredith - Wow, twins! That is awesome.

Skuttle - I am working up the nerve for the grapefruit juice but I am a finicky eater.

Gurgi - Congratulations on the weight loss! Good to hear the doctor appointment went well. DH sounds like mine. I can tell him something, he acknowledges it, and still forgets.

TinkerChelle - Welcome to the group. I have lurked forever and just started trying to post but this group moves fast. Good luck with testing

HelenaBear - Where in Ohio are you? We are headed to Cincinnati next weekend to visit DH's family.

Sorry to everyone I miss, I can't keep up but know I read all your stories and have nothing but good thoughts and prayers for all of you.

As for me I was released from the hospital on Sunday and the doctor said to stop the Clomid. My OB said my DHEA levels are a little high and I have some symptoms of PCOS so if I don't get pregnant this cycle we are going to try metaformin.

I am one who has a hard time hearing others are pregnant but it does not mean I am not happy for them. I do however listen with a heavy heart. DSil called us last year while we were walking back from Epcot to tell us she was pregnant with #2. Talk about a mood killer in the happiest place on earth. DSIS and her DH also get pregnant really easy so it is hard but I still love them and my DNieces.

Baby Dust to Everyone! I hope to see some BFP's really soon!

This is going to show just how incredibly stupid I am. How long have I been looking at your siggy? For a few months now, right?? Well, I JUST REALIZED tonight that it's a picture of the Swan/Dolphin area. Good Lord. And I'm over there every weekend, you'd think I'd know that. For some odd reason, I was thinking it was somewhere up north! :rotfl:

WOW!! I can't keep up with y'all!!

Gurgi--what a recovery! Good luck!
Meredith--TWINSTWINSTWINS!! WhooHOO!
I know I am missing a lot, but let me just say--YOU ALL ROCK!! I am so thankful to have this thread to come to vent, to be supported, to be understood and most of all to be uplifted by such a great group of women.
