Hey girls!
Well, some semi-good news on my part....no BFP yet, but today lifted my spirits some.
I had my appointment with my new doctor, and because we work for the same area he had everything done as a favor, so it didn't cost one cent. Thank goodness!! I went through a battery of tests (one left for me) and everything came back in the clear. I am perfectly healthy, normal periods, obviously ovulating correctly because my period comes on time every month, etc. He was such a sweet and funny man, he put me right to ease at the first moment he started talking to me. His nurse was a sweetheart as well! What a change from my last ob!!
I have to go do one more test just to be 100% sure that everything is okay...it's some long word that starts with an H, but basically I go in right at the end of this period (and it started today right after the exam, thank god...how gross would that be?!) and have a dye injected into my uterus to make sure there are no polyps or fibroids. If that's in the clear, he said that I can be ruled out 100% (though after my hysterscope today, it showed nothing on the monitors that could be wrong with me). He said that he bets $10 that my husband has either a low sperm count or lazy sperm...hehe. He pointed out that we got pregnant once after trying for 8 months, so he is pretty sure that it's on my hubby's end. He's going for his test either this weekend or next week.
If it comes back as that, then he said that we could go to super easy route of getting preggers by my hubby giving a sample in the ob office (I LOL at that one) and then they would take a special syringe to help move them up higher to where the boys need to be when I'm ovulating. Lay there for 15 minutes, go home and that's that.
He also put me on a cocktail of B5, folic acid, a pre nate and baby aspirin. I asked about that, and he said that the baby aspirin kills all of the bad bacteria that may be in your body while the rest helps fine tune everything.
Before he left the room, he asked when my next pap smear was...I told him it was last August. He responded with, "Eh, you're good. You won't need another one in August because you'll be pregnant by then."

So...that's where I am right now. Woot!!
