Okay, hoping this doesn't come off as creepy stalkerish (but if they didn't want us to use the search function it shouldn't be there!! ;) ) but Carla's last post was about some computer issues she was having...so maybe that's the problem...hoping so.

Lisa and FlyingBelle - good luck with everything!

Becky - so how much baby stuff did you buy over the weekend? I'd probably own an entire store by now..... How are you doing?

Nicole - welcome :grouphug: The name story is quite a coincidence - that must make it lucky. :)

Minnesota - Happy 2ww to you! Dream of BFP's......

Carla - how are the bunlets?

Kristy - sounds like a long weekend :) I can't imagine what I would say to a friend that told me something like that, especially when you have to work with both of them.

So the ultrasound was this morning. Gotta love the internal part  I still haven't gotten any results yet, so I'll have to call soon. I can't start the Clomid until I hear, and this is day 5. Would it be bad to have the doctor I work with call and get the results himself, rather than waiting for my OB/GYN to hear? :) As my DH would say - If patience is such a virtue, then I must be completely virtue-less. ;)

Woman and Infants in Rhode Island. Probably about the same distance to Boston. Carla uses them but I think in Northern Mass. I seee Dr Jurema and he is just great very down to earth. We had a consiltation with him about our next step and Kevin thought he was going to him and haw. Kevin asked how many cycles of clomid do you usually do before going onto the next thing. He goes 4 it is time to try something else. On another note the lovely General Assembly of RI is trying to limit infetility to woman between 25-40. Since I live in Mass but my husband works for the state we have no representation. Of course our lovely Republican governor is anti choice.

Welcome back 2bemarried - sounds like you had quite the weekend! I hear you with your friend's confession - had a friend confess something similar a couple years ago, needless to say, when my ex-DH started cheating - she had no sympathy for me whatsoever. Thus, the END of that friendship!

What's your treatment looking like this cycle?

I tried to tell my friend that she should confess to her husband but she's not willing to do that b/c he's friends with the guy she cheated on him with. I know....drama central!!

Anyway....I'm scheduled to go in for a baseline ultrasound Thursday morning and I'll start taking 10IUI's of Lupron that evening. Then next week when AF shows up I'll have to go in again for another ultrasound and I'll start taking the Follistim that evening. I'm actually waiting now for the mail order pharmacy to call me about scheduling my med delivery.

Mal thanks for checking on Carla. I don't think it's stalkerish at all...just thoughtful and caring :)

Jen...I know ALL about virtue-less when it comes to patience. Like I said above..I'm waiting for the pharmacy to call. Well..I know my nurse was supposed to fax the order this morning after consulting with my doc on the Follistim dosage. So I just called and left the nurse a message to see if she had faxed the order over yet  :teeth: I have no patience!!

Kristy-- I use Village Pharmacy they are great I don't know if they are in NC.
Nichole-that is so funny if Diana was a boy we were going to name her Domenic. When Kevin coached pre teen football he had a played named Domenic John. They use to call him DJ well flip forward 12 years and Kevin and I am at a wedding and who is there but DJ. He is my second cousin. Of course Kevin's dad hated the name Domenic too Italian so my response was what the hell do you think I am ITALIAN

Since we're sharing stories today...

I got an email from my mom today, normally I don't believe in "dreams" but I am a woman of Christian faith and believe that God does give us signs.

Anyways, my mom is known for having a baby dream a day or so before someone close to her announces she's pregnant - the closer she is to the baby in the dream (such as holding it rather than just seeing it), the closer in relation the woman is to her. It's happened more times than just coincidence!

However, for both my sister and my brother's wife (2x) she hasn't had the dream but someone close to her has.

Brings us to yesterday - my mom's best friend in church has started a "Hannah List" (check out I Sammuel in the Old Testament). It's a list of women that she believes are destined to be mothers, but are still childless, and she prays for them daily. I've been on her list for about 8 years now.

So yesterday, her friend comes up to my mom and says she had a dream Sat night that I told her I was pregnant!

So - it'll be 2 weeks from today before I find out if this month's cycle worked, but it definitely gave me that "positive vibe"! :goodvibes

BTW: the name's Christine :wave2:

Well Hopefully for you the dream is true. I got the BFN but no AF yet. As soon as it arrived I will start the cycle over again. I responded really well to the HCG so the nurse said he might up the dose of glonal f

BFP!!!!!!!!

I'm not even joking- I can still barely believe it- my hubby almost passed out!!!! I am sooo shaking right now- gotta run (I'm only on my lunch) but will tell as soon as I get back.

pixiedust: pixiedust: party:

I have been out of town - and I am so happy to hear this news, Becky! I didn't go ahead to see if you had posted again, but HOORAY!

I had a busy weekend in MN. Our trip was plagued by weather delay after weather delay, and you would not believe how much time and money we spend in airports. But the family reunion was a lot of fun, and the weather was nice (except for Satuday afternoon). We would really like to go back again for vacation some time.

I gave my notice at work today. I got a job offer (while I was away) that I just could not pass up. I will be starting on August 1!

Carla - how are the bunlets?

LisaB - I am sorry about the BFN, but I still have my fingers crossed for you for next cycle.

I can't stay long because I have a lot of work to catch up on from last week, but I will check in again soon.

Denae

Congrats Denae on the new job. What will you be doing???

Flying Belle This was my 4th attempt with clomid and iui. I am going to try glona f with iui and from there who knows. After finding out what the lovely general assembly did in RI I don't have much time until I am 40 I turned 38 on April 6th--Well the clock is tick tock. Even though we live in Mass which says that insurances have to pay for infertility Kevin works for the state of RI and we have an anti choice governor

Wow, 4 tries... I barely made it through the day of my 1st failed IUI.

Clomid never did anything for me - so last month they moved me right to follistim. RE suggests if it doesn't work this month that we'll have to regroup and refine the strategy.

RI has a limit of 40 years old? That's crazy! I mean, I'm sure we'd all love to be done with this before age 40, but really. Well... you've got time yet... hang in there!

They tried to pass it with the budget. I don't know if it passed but I called Kevin's union rep. It is funny but this month I had to go for a pap and it was like nothing compared to the iui. I am even getting used to giving the blood. I think I will plan our next trip to WDW

I used to HATE doing both, but you're right, getting internal ultrasounds & blood work every-other-day makes the pap sound like a trip to Disney

I am going to be the controller at a start-up manufacturing company. It will be quite a challenge for me, and lots lots more money and prestige - so I am pretty excited about it. It stinks to leave here, and leave all my friends, but I think I will adjust.

DH has been home with the kids today, and he has vacuumed, done laundry, gone to the grocery store and fed the kids a late lunch - so I won't even have to cook dinner tonight. Life is good.

Lisa - I mixed up my abbrs. Sorry about the BFN. Did you get a beta number?

Denae - glad you enjoyed MN! What state do you live in? Sorry the weather wasn't the best for you! And CONGRATS on the new job :O) How cool! When your DH is done with your house...send him to mine, please? I cleaned top to bottom this weekend and you would never know it because my DH is such a slob. Grrr...

Congrats on the job... spent about 7 years in accounting myself and have a couple friends who are controllers. It's a "secure" job, that's for sure. (Coming from someone in a company that does lay-offs on a monthly basis - ugh!) Good luck with it!

I live in Vermont, so not close enough to rent out to you. We had a lot of fun while we were there, even though it rained on the reunion. We really want to go back for vacation some time. My aunts both have boats, and it would be a lot of fun to go to a lake for a week. My aunt says they don't travel much, but why would you have to travel if you had a boat and a lake on every corner.

I was a little disappointed, though. When I was a little girl, there used to be paddle boats and swans at a little lake in St. Cloud, and I couldn't wait to show them to my kids. They are all gone! Oh well, life goes on, even when you are gone.
