We are thinking of staying here, mainly because of the new breakfast they serve and the close location to the park. Has anyone stayed there lately (atleast since they seemed to have redone the place?)Opinions? I appreciate any info you can give!!

We stayed for the first time in May. We were thoroughly impressed. The room we had was neat, clean and updated. The breakfast was very complete: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, various breads to toast, donuts, cereals, fruit, waffle irons and batter, juices, cartons of chocolate and reg milk...lots to choose from!

It was nice having the little gift shop on site as well. We didn't get around to using the pool but it looked nice and clean.

They leave a gift basket in your room upon arrival (actually, ours was there 2 days into our trip). It had bananas, apples, 2 waters and a bottle of champagne that we switched for Sparkling Cider.

When we checked in, we told them it was our first stay and that our son was celebrating his 3rd bday. A couple days later, we came back to our room for a midday break to a balloon bouquet tied down with a big baggie full of candy, some crayons and a Mickey t-shirt! How's that for customer service?

The location can't be beat. We figured it's the second closest motel after BWPPI. For the price, it just can't be beat.

Do a search and you'll find many more reviews. :)

We stayed there a couple of summers ago, and I really enjoy it. The rooms very remodeled and clean.
They just had the basic cont. breakfast at the time, which wasn't bad, even then.
And, It is RIGHT across the street, we love that !
Hoping to get a good price to stay there in Jan. and June !!! :thumbsup2

Have Fun ! :goodvibes

I wish I could say the same as the above posters, but I cant. I hated the place. I was not expecting a onsite resor quality or even the Hyatt. But I wish it was cleaner and bigger rooms. I had a king size room- and they brought up a crib for DS2. It barely nudged between the king bed and the wall next to the bathroom. It was small!!!!! The bed was so/so..... I was too sore and tired from being in the park all day to care about the bed- as long as there wasnt bed bugs- hehe. And there was no bedbugs!- I checked as soon as I opened the door!:thumbsup2 And I also spray Lysol and wipe down everything including remotes and the phone- and everything in the bathroom. then I close the door count till 40 and then re wipe and air out the room. But the carpets were filty and under the bed was particles of filth. Like filthy sock feeling and dirty! Thats really gross to me, plus it smelled way funky in the room... after awhile you get used to it... little did I Know >>> the smell would soon to leach on you and everything you own! Plus the room they gave me was upstairs. On my room key card it had a first floor number- then it was crossed out and they wrote a second floor number- I asked and requested first floor- since traveling with DS2 - which was a royal pain getting that stroller and diaper bag etc up those stairs- plus a baby in one arm! Anyways, the lady at the desk said they were booked solid. :sad2: So they get a bad review from me for basically being 1. too dirty. 2. too small. 3. idiot staff members.... sure they were "nice" but whoever does room assisngments should try to accomodate with better planning for the week on who gets what room.
But-1. They do give out nice baskets! However I found it odd they sent me wine, instead of a sparkling juice... I mean they see in my notes- that I was traveling solo with just a baby- and to please put me on the first floor so my baby wont keep others awake when he runs around or drops a toy. I just assumed I would receive juice instead of the wine so I could share with my DS2. It is across the street from the park! Thats a really nice feature too have! Its really hard to top that!
3. Its pretty cheap!
If you do book here- I hope they give you a better room! :grouphug:

We stay here al the time. We were there in Feb. of this year and will be there in Dec. Our favorite things are the location and the free breakfast. We usually stay in a 2 queen room with a rollaway. We stayed in a bunkbed room once and it felt alot smaller-the adults did not like it (the kids loved it). Other good things are the little shop near the lobby, Cold Stone in front and you can see the fireworks.
