Any one on 7-29-06 / 7 Night Western!!!! Is Back

Hi all,

Sorry its been a while since Ive posted but I'm having a bad week with my back and I have to avoid sitting @ the computer. :surfweb:

Tif the car is great, Im really pleased with it. It has really helped this week :thumbsup2

Congrats and good luck to all those with sports events!

After this week we have 1 more till what we call half term and I have one weeks holiday, boy am I looking forward to it. When we return it will be the last stretch heading towards the cruise!!

I only finish school the week before we go.

Dave has gone away on buisness today so its just me and the dogs for the next few days.

I am soo looking forward to this holiday. It has done nothing but rain for the last week and a bit. I am imagining myself lying in the sun with a good book and the drink of the day

Does anyone watch boston legal? Dave and I think its sooo funny. My brother is a solicitor and he reminds me so much of Alan Shaw!

Sorry im waffling, guess IM really tired.
Take care
:wave2:

Good Morning Everyone! Sounds like everyone is in the midst of the hectic May wind-down from school, sports, etc. I know I'm really looking forward to a more relaxed summer pace :)
We also received a box from disney yesterday  - 3 matching Mickey dresses - and mine actually fits! :rotfl2: I wish I could say they same about the t-shirts I ordered. I designed them from the disney design your own. I ordered a fitted for older dd and myself (mine was an adult large) - dd #3 was a youth size 6-8 and while my shirt is longer than hers - her shirt was actually larger than mine! While I can stretch the shirt and wear it - it is sending my 12 yo into screams of mortification - "OMG MOM - you Can't wear that!" :rotfl: (I won't - but her reaction was kind of fun - now she knows how I feel sometimes ;) ) I'll see if they used a youth large and try to return it. If not, I guess the little one has a new sleep shirt.

We are so excited! I got up at 3:00 am and booked our excursions. We are going to Xcaret in Cozumel. Is anyone else? I decided to rent a little electric car in Key West and do our own thing (Butterfly Museum, Hemingway house, etc.) and then out to the beach. I also booked booked (outside Disney) a sail/snorkel day in Cayman Islands. Is anyone else booking outside Disney?

Hope you all have a great day! DD is home sick again today so I'm planning on catching up on CSI so I can watch the season finale!

I booked outside with Captian Marvins... lots cheaper and I've read good reviews about them

:confused3 Ok! This is off topic of the cruise. I thought that CSI Miami was good yesterday but I never thought that NCIS would leave us hanging the way it did. ;)

Helen: I am not saying what happened so as not to spoil it for you. But it is a good on

Agreed! So, do you think it is a personal choice? Or do you think we will see a FULL show next season???? I can only hope so!

And last night was pretty intense! Can't believe we have to wait till next Monday...I thought last night was the finale! It is going to be so hard, as we will have the team down at the Florida house. Somehow I have to get everyone early that night!!! :)

We are definitely getting prepped for the trip. Abby's friend that is coming has been out shopping. They are so excited. The boys have a cruise suitcase about set to go already!!! I have everything I need...now I just need to find that smaller waist that is still somewhere inside! :lmao:

Well, have a good night all! See ya!

Thanks Flo its appreciated ;)

Can you remember last week when I said in one of the classes that I taught we had a 'design a pirate outfit for Mrs Jobling'

Well this morning we had a big assembly with several classes all together. The deputy head (vice princple) was leading a Q & A part when one of the children - Ellen put her hand up. She said " I don't know the answer Miss, I just wanted to let Miss Jobling know that primark have some good skull and cross bone scarfs.
You can imagine my embarrassment

;) Helen, Like they say you knwo know what comes out of a kids mouth. They are so funny, but embarising at times. :sunny:

I've been busy. Let me tell you more about my wife and I. We just married in Feb. I am 31 and my wife will be turning 25 on the first night of the cruise. We booked REAS in order to get Palo on the first night. This will be our first visit to the states as a married couple. I teach full-time at a university in Pohang, South Korea. Our semester ends about June 17th. But I have 3 weeks of summer school starting on the 26th of June before we fly to the states on July 15th. We will be doing a lot of flying to visit family. Before the cruise we will be in Massachusetts, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Pensacola, Florida. Then we will spend 3 days at WDW before the cruise, 2 days CR - Tower Room (Concierge) and then 1 night POFQ. If we come into some more money then we will upgrade that last night to a different Deluxe Hotel that has bus service. CR does not. After the cruise, we will be between Mass. and Niagara Falls. My brother-in-law studies in Toronto and does not have a US Visa so we are meeting up with him. We are currently GTY Cat. 12. Hoping for an upgrade. May buy a cheaper one day of departure if it doesn't happen. Would like a sideways Cat 11 or anything Cat.10 and higher. We will do the rotation PLA, early dining. That way we miss Parrot on first night during Palo. Looking forward to meeting.

;) Korea Ears:You sure are going to be susy once you hit the states. You are going to need the cruise to rest.

It is getting closer and closer I can't wait. :Pinkbounc

;) Hi Everyone! ;) Found this on Cruisecal and thought it was interesting. It tells you are arrival and departure times, if there are other ships at port with you and if they have web cams. You could leave the web cam’s link with family if you want and they can see the ship.As you can see it did not add the cams. If you want to go to the web site for this it is the above with .com. As we all know port times can even change Have a good day! :)

Hope you all have an incredible time on the 7/29/06 DCL western. It's Disney, so I know that you will pixiedust: We did this cruise 2 summers ago and DH fell in love with Key West. So much so, that we are spending 8 days in Key West in July, leaving 9 weeks from tomorrow  ! I just told him that we HAVE to go down to the dock on Sunday 7/30 to see "our" ship :teeth: and our DIS friends! Our shuttle back to Miami doesn't leave until 5:30 on Sunday, so we'll be strolling around Key West all day. Please say "hi" :wave2: if you see us!

P.S.
I am REALLY jealous that I am not on the cruise with you all. It was the best vacation we have ever had :grouphug: .

;) dznyacct: I will tell Mickey and gang that you said hello from the dock. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for posting more background information so we can get to know you a little better. It sounds like you will be very busy while you are in the States. I am a fellow Leo (August 1st), and there are several other DIS board members with birthdays during the cruise.

We can't wait to meet you both.

hi all

Ive managed to stay up and have been in the cruise chat!

They were talking about the green bands

They got them from a company called reminderband

MrsJobba1 - Are you taking orders for these for fellow DISers on the 7/29 or should we order them ourselves? I would love to have 4 for my family! I tried to scan thru the boards to see if we were doing a group order. If so, count me in.
:bounce:

ps - to all my fellow cruisers on 7-29, I just checked the Grand Cayman Port site, and we are one of only 2 cruise ships scheduled in Port on August 1st!(the following two days, there are 5 ships each day!) :woohoo:

;) nextcruz: BUt if you check Cozumel, they get us. There are 4 ships there. There are only two shipe when we are in Key West to. O well you can't have everything. Have a good day. :thumbsup2
