We've had a very busy weekend with Jonathan's birthday party yesterday and the boys double header baseball games today. This is our last week of baseball with the final game next Saturday and maybe the championship game on Sunday.

Once this next week is done all I have left to do is plan for our cruise

Tif...our boys really enjoy pin trading. I enjoy watching them pin trade...its a great way to meet other Disney fans. I don't trade that much...I mainly collect DVC pins and Aloha themed pins (Lilo & Stitch are fun). I can't wait to add some Disney Cruise pins to my collection.

I'm worried I'll go overboard on buying DCL things like beach towel, etc.

Time to get the kids ready for bed.

Tif -- cute pictures of your kids! My kids love to collect pins but haven't really gotten in to trading them. Since they are getting older now, I bet they will want to trade. We'll definitely have the pins with us.

Our weekend was nice, although my DH had to work all weekend (a big software change at his work). Soccer games were rained out for the third week in a row!!! UGH! Now baseball and soccer games will overlap even more. I ended up taking the boys to the movie on Saturday. We saw Hoot, and it was a darling movie. I've been working a lot lately, so I thought I would take the kids, then end up falling asleep. Nope, it was a great movie, with wonderful new music by Jimmy Buffet.

The boys get out of school on May 18th, so I need to finish out their summer schedules. We have awards ceremonies, end of school conferences and parties etc.

Good Morning Everyone!

The pictures are wonderful! I love to "get to know" everyone before the cruise. When I can figure out how to upload pictures without exceeding the size limit I will.

I'm soo excited. I got my passporter from Amazon Saturday and have poured over it! I keep thinking "oh how formal is formal night" and is anyone else dressing for pirate night, and etc. etc.

TomsPixie - I'm traveling solo with 2 of my 3 girls this trip. The third dd is in Hawaii this summer. My Dh has long promised to participate in a Disney Cruise but always manages to have work interfere. Plus (and gasp) - <whispering very quietly> he's just not into Disney the way I am. If I waited until he actually come with - I think I'd be a grandmother! So I decided that it would be a girls only trip. The girls (Emily & Rachael, 12 & 7) will miss their big sis, but she's into her own thing now. We really can't wait for our trip!

Hi All!

Lisa...you will have a great time with just your girls. Each year, for the last 8 years one of our three children gets a mommy only trip. It has been an opportunity for us to share one on one time. In November the boys combined their trip and we did a four day on the Wonder! It was such a neat trip. They did miss Abby, but still had fun! They are getting to an age that they will get to do a guys weekend here and there...golf 24/7!!! OOPS...Abby plays too! I just caddy!

Marci, sounds like a nice weekend. Sometimes when a soccer game gets rained out it is soo needed! When did you guys start school. May 18 sounds early to me. Our 8th grade graduates on the 21st and the rest of the school gets out on the 26th. High school waits till June 2nd!!!

Everybody else...HI!!! Our trip is just around the corner!!!!

My boys don't get out till June 1st. That's about the norm here.

Boys had a great baseball game today. Both boys hit a triple and single. They were given the game ball to share This is really nice because both had been struggling with their hitting for some time.

My day to make our ressies is coming up...I'm hoping to get Palo dinner and brunch. Also need to reserve time in Flounders for DD. And the eco-tour on CC.....can't wait!

Good morning, ya'll! My boys started school August 15th last year. This year, they'll start a week later.

Jen -- glad your boys had a great game yesterday! Andrew had a pretty good game and Jake played soccer for the first time in three weeks! I'm going to have a real problem with the soccer make-up games and regular baseball schedule. They are seriously overlapping, plus, since they haven't been able to practice or play in so long, they are really struggling.

Wow! Almost everyone seems to be out so early. We aren't finished until June 22nd and we start again on Sept. 5th! I'm jealous of those of you rapidly approaching the easier more relaxed time of Summer.

I also am counting down the time until I can make ressies for our shore excursions (and some spa time for mom!) If I understand from reading the boards correctly its May 15th for 1st time cruisers at 3:00 am EST?

Jen...CONGRATS to the boys!!! How cool that they got to keep the game ball!! WOOHOO!!

Marci...Good luck on the scheduling of baseball/soccer/soccer/baseball...etc., etc., etc.! All three kids are in everything...for which we are grateful, but somedays a bit of a break would be great!!!! I hope all the rain you guys were getting heads over to Florida!

All Disers...talked with Dorothy from the terminal. You may know her as "the bug lady??" She is a doll and really interacts with the guests well. She has become a close friend over the years. She was saying that it is a nightmare down there right now and that they need prayers desperately! Pray for rain...pray for no fire...pray for less smoke!

Tif -- with three in multiple sports, I'd have to quit my job! Luckily I have a great boss who I've worked with for 19 years. She does training courses and travels all the time, so I run her business. I had planned on being a SAHM, until we learned both kids have multiple learning problems. Thank God they are both bright children, and the largest school for bright children with learning differences is located in Dallas, so it's off to work I go (and a 50 mile commute one-way for the school)! I do put in around 50 hours a week, but I can work a couple of days from home, and I can start working at 6:30, so I can get off at a reasonable time to get them to all the practices and games.

I have two siblings, so I have renewed respect for my mom who took us all over for all the sports/activites we were in. I was a competition twirler, so we went all over the country for contests. I remember at the time thinking I was lucky to have great parents, but I didn't FULLY understand how great they are until I had two children of my own.

Are kids here do not get out of school till June 2nd. They begin school the last week of August.

My son does not get out of college till May 25th. That is his last final. He is also on semesters not quarters. They do not start school until the Monday after Labor Day.

My thoughts and prayers go out to them in FL. With all the brush fires. I hope they get rain. They can have the rain we are getting.

It was a treasure hunt/clue game that I made up. <shyly> I thought I'd share as it seems so many of you "know" each other already.

I've been watching the weather in FL. Hope that the fires are under control and that rain heads their way. I hope everyone has a great evening and isn't too worn down running all the kids around! (or dogs - we have 2 do I know how it goes )

HI Gang!!!

Well, my crew is outside playing backyard baseball again!!! I love to listen to them all. The first kid out there is always my DH!!! He is soooo funny! Tonight has been fun as we are puppysitting Father Haake's dog again!!! So we currently have two and it gets crazy! Those of you with two all the time...you are so lucky!!!

By the way Lisa, great photos!!! Your girls are darling! And the cake looked like it was so much fun!!!!

I booked a couple of spa things today! So ready for a massage right now!! We are definitely doing Palo on Saturday night. That is always a resv. I look forward to getting locked in!

Hi! As long as your pictures are in a post and not a signature the size is fine. Also, if you look at post #378 of this thread. I put mine next to each other. What you have to do is put them right next to each other. I did it on seperate lines and mine came out like yours . When I put them back to back it worked like pofst #378. Hope this helps.
