Hmm might have to check the one in Pomona, like I said I'm taking my 3 DD's 8 and 6 year old twins. they are girls they would find just about anything that has a disney logo on it. lol even if it was a Disney paper bag or those napkins. LOL when they come home they play DLR with the maps from our trips. LOL

I wish I was that young and simple again.

You can also go to the Wal-mart store that is near Disneyland. We found a lot of children's clothing there with Disney characters on it. DD(4) got a princess backpack, DS (2) got a Cars snowglobe.

I have only been there once but we got lucky from what it sounds like in previous posts. My husband found a Mickey leather jacket for me - very understated in the Mickey department - beautiful supple leather with a gorgeous lining. I begged him to not buy it for me as it was just a huge budget buster (I think it was $80 marked down from $275) but he did anyway (kinda glad he did!). We also found picture frames, t-shirts, a stuffed Pirate Mickey that matched Pirate Minnie that we already had back home, pins (great deal compared to the parks), hats, etc. Tons of stuff when we went - we ended up buying MOST of our souvenirs here - got a ton of stuff for under $200 (including the jacket). When we went into the parks the next day, we saw some of the same things still at full price (felt good about that). I would go - I am sure they will have something that will make it worth your time and if they don't - not much time wasted. :goodvibes

I went to one about a year ago north of Seattle. I lucked out and found some fun things, including a light blue lined Tinkerbell windbreaker that I had my eye on at DLR. There it was something like $75 and at the warehouse I got it for under $30. :thumbsup2

Jade they didn't have pin bags when we were there last month. They did have pin books, like binders with pages inside to stick the pins in. I like the bags better. :)

When we went there was a ton of clothes, we looked at the signs and anything that was 70% or more off we bought if they had our size. Unfortunately DBF didn't get anything but the girls and I got a lot! We got shirts and sweatshirts and we spent about $60.

If anyone sees a 2007 Disney World refrigerator magnet, I would pay you plus postage to send it to me :worship:
We went last year on Dec. 15th, and they were all sold out. :sad1:

We were at DL 6/20-27, and we went to the Character Warehouse. I found some pretty good deals. I got some nice jackets for the kids for 50%. I thought they'd be great in the fall, but my big kids wore theirs tonight during the fireworks. We found a few t-shirts, jammies for my dd, and I found a limited edition pin of the Incredibles, that normally sold for $30, and it was only $6. I was even happy to find some of those plastic lunchboxes that the kids meals used to come in. They only had purple and they were .99 cents each. I only bought one for each child, and later, I thought I probably should have bought more, as they aren't available in the parks anymore.

Anyway, we made out pretty well, especially considering the jackets. I can't wait until the traveling one comes around here again.

oh cool pixiewing ty i may decied to get a pin book if i find it in stead of a bag..idk yet ill figuer it out but i will look here first lol

Just remember that if you get a binder instead of a bag you will still need a bag to carry it around in, unless you just want to carry it under your arm all day. :)

It is definitley a hit or miss as with all typcial outlets - and things come in daily. I have been there once and I remember I had bought a top from World of Disney in Downtown Disney the day before and they sold the exact same one at the outlet for less than half the price, so of course I returned it back the next day!

hehe oh ya if worse comes to worse ill put it in my pirate bag i have lol alot fits in it. I just told capt bane about the bus ride he said thats not bad

I don't think it's a question of, "Is there anything decent there?" I have never been there and not seen cool stuff for WAY less than at the park. I just think it's hit and miss as to whether or not they will have the thing you are looking for at the time you are there.

TCW always seems to have something cool I could spend my money on. sigh.

There is an AWESOME Walmart not far from WDW. (Sorry, don't know the exact street, but I'm sure someone on the WDW threads could help). My sister lives in FL, so when we visit she knows all the good places. The front of the store is a huge department filled full of nice, very reasonably priced WDW things. Lots of t-shirts, everything you could possibly imagine. I think the t-shirts and things they carry are a little higher quality than what you normally find at Walmart.

Just a few blocks down from Walmart (on the same street, opposite side) is a small factory outlet strip mall that has a Disney Outlet/Clearance store, similar to the Fullerton one, it's kind of hit or miss.

If you sign up on their mailing list, they send you emails telling you when they get a new shipment in. Usually when I go right after a new shipment I can get some really nice things. Go when things are picked over and you won't find much. I'm sure there is one in Florida

When we went to the one on Harbor Blvd. last year, I found lots of inexpensive items for my classroom treasure box. I found the twisty crayons, coloring books, stuffed characters, my mom found a really nice t-shirt, and my best find was a map of DL. I had been looking everywhere for a map of DL. I had bought one at DL when I was a teenager many years ago and probably lost it on one of my house moves. I wasn't even looking for it there, I thought that I was just never going to find one again when I looked down at the register that was next to ours and there they were in a basket. I did the happy dance. I'll be back this year to see what I can find when I go to DL.:goofy:

:surfweb: Woke up this AM before the Family, we're gonna go try the Store in Pomona,
I figure since it's the one that futher from DL, it shouldn't be busy. and might have more stuff left over. Driving Distance is the same for me.

I'm going to take my New Nikon D40 digital SLR (Bday present to myself, my bday was 7/5 and I also wanted a good camera for our WDW trip on 7/10 ) and try to sneak a few pics for you guys :thumbsup2
