Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

We are staying at POR Riverside Oct 2-12 and we got our email today for the Magic Bands. I'm excited to try them, the only bad thing about them is that you have to plan your fastpasses ahead (which is only 3 per day except Magic Kingdom which is 4 per day) and if you plan to split a day at a park you can't split your 3 per day between the parks. Hopefully when the testing phase is over they change this because those you like to park hop want to be able to get fastpasses at both parks.

Use regular fastpass at your first park of the day, and book fastpass+ reservations later in the day for the park you hop to. Voila! Problem solved!

What is the difference in the fastpass and the fastpass+? That does sound like it will work, thank you.

You will get both. They will link your AP's to your Magicbands but you will also receive cards.

You will receive a KTTWC, that is the card for traditional fastpasses. The fastpass+ will be on your Magicband and they are not connected to one another.

As far as I know, yes, unless they decide to change things for the October testers. From everything I've read thus far though, it appears you will have your KTTWC as a backup to your magicband. I tested in August and will be testing again next month.

That works great then. I would hate using a fastpass on something like a parade, fireworks or the be our guest lunch and not be able to use it on a ride. Thank you for the help.

We opted for the CSR this year since we have never tried a mod before. Got the FD so it didn't cost more to move ressies from ASMu, however we are not in the magic band or FP+ group. Now wondering if it would be worth it to just use the KTTW card and reg fastpass or change resorts to use the magic bands???

I've seen people say they are able to choose 4 fastpass plus selections for Magic Kindgom. I was only able to choose 3 - were most people able to choose 4?

I was only able to get 3 fast passes for Magic Kingdom..we are going to be at disney from oct 26th - nov 2

Not sure 'most' people were able to choose 4. I have seen that lots could ... and lots could not. I am there October 4-12 and could only choose 3 for MK. I know many others could only choose 3. I check every now and then for a 4th one but no luck yet. So don't expect to get that extra one.

When you log onto MDE go to magic bands, that's how I found out I could customize mine....I didn't know I was getting them. I just clicked on magic bands and it said you have 4 days to customize and order so I customized and ordered. I had only 4 days left to order them when I found out I was getting them, so I would check it out ASAP. If you don't customize, you will get the gray ones probably at check-in.

Personally, I would change if it's not to much more money or about the same price. This would give you the ability to use the MB's for FP+ AND the paper kind of Fp's. Port Orleans Riverside is participating and is a beautiful, breathtaking resort. Plus, you get the added perk of the boat ride to Downtown Disney.

Wow, I just figured it all out. Ordered wristbands, signed up for all our Fast Passes... Yikes! I wasn't going to pay attention and just skip it - I'm glad I didn't!

We are at Pop 10/13, which qualified us for MBs and then we check into Villas at Wilderness Lodge for 10/14-10/19. I was only able to request 3 FP+ for Magic Kingdom.
