Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Did you choose "Select or Replace" from the options? That is what I did and I was able to choose a new set of 3 FP+

Try to choose three new ones. If you don't like the times offered you will have the choice to cancel the change and keep your originals.

I chose to select also and just picked 3 new ones (MSEP, Wishes and HM) It gave me the later parade so I went back in and changed the time to the first parade.

Yes but the pin drop on the map shows it by the Firehouse. Assuming it is in front of castle like last time.

I found you can change just one of your current FP+ to MSEP or Wishes if the times happen to coincide. So, if you are trying to do this and having issues, you may want to first change the time of the FP+ you are trying to change to be about the same time as the parade or fireworks, and then try to change selection.

It says on the "i" circle next to the reservation that the viewing area is in front of Cinderella's Castle. I think the pin drop is just where the parade starts from ???

And I didn't have any FP+ times available near 8pm so I had to make three new ones. But it worked out.

I so wish that they could work it out for people with hoppers to choose an evening attraction (like fireworks ) at a different park if the guest so desires. I hate that the way it currently stands is it only works I park/day, hoppers or not.

I customized my MBs at least two weeks ago, clicked done and everything, but MDE still shows I can customize them along with the "could ship at any time message". We are less than 2 weeks out, but from Canada, so MBs ship to resort. Today I got an email telling me I had until Oct. 4th to customize, if I had chosen to participate. (This was not an invite email, I got that a while ago.)

Guess I'll be calling in the morning.

I so wish that they could work it out for people with hoppers to choose an evening attraction (like fireworks ) at a different park if the guest so desires. I hate that the way it currently stands is it only works I park/day, hoppers or not.

I would love to have this option, too!!
We so often just go to a 2nd park later in the evening for dinner and the end of the day fireworks/shows.

We got our MBs 2 days ago. Yesterday, in the snail mail and email, I just got the invitation telling me we were "selected" as part of the MyMagic+ test. LOL It said we had till October 15th to customize our bands, but my deadline was September 26th.

Maybe because you're in Canada, so you have more time? Since it ships directly to resort?

I got the same email & the magic bands have been here for at least a week. I'm not worried about it , figuring it's a generic email & not tied into their system (no surprises there)

One mb user mentioned they aren't comfortable, & I wondered about that. They are really bulky. A lanyard option could be a good alternative.

got our MB on 9/20. On the 21st me and my sister both got the invite via e-mail and snail mail. Confused the heck out of my sister. I have done all the planning and when she got the invite she called to tell me and asked was there something else that needed to be done?

FastPass+ Offered for Wishes and Both Parades

Starting from tomorrow (Monday, September 30, 2013) until October 30, FastPass+ will be offered for Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade, Main Street Electrical Parade, and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular on dates when the Magic Kingdom Park is NOT closing at 7 p.m. for a special after-hours event.

The FastPass+ viewing area for parades is located directly in front of Cinderella Castle, in the Castle forecourt stage area. The fireworks viewing area, on the other hand, will continue to be in the Rose Garden.

FP+ now shows Wishes as an option for my Oct date, but it says "standby only." Does this mean they are all gone?

Checked into Pop this afternoon, POFQ for 8 nights, then POR for one night. MB worked great today...no glitches whatsoever. MB sure makes everything easier. No more fumbling around for KTTW. Only wish AP discount was tied into MB. FP+ worked like a charm. Switching resorts tomorrow so we will see how it goes then.

Thanks for posting this, makes me feel better! Also, other Canadians who have tested reported the same situation with status not changing and their bands were waiting customized as expected. Fingers crossed.
