Any news on when they will finish the other side of the POP?

I was just wondering if anyone has any news on when they will finish the other side of the POP? It is sad to see it sit there empty. They are doing other building on property I wonder why they don't finish it. I know they may have to rebuild what is already there but I was hoping they would finish it.

I guess at this time they don't need the capacity. If it needed to be torn down I am sure Disney would have already done it.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Disney seems intent on building more and more DVC properties at this point. I can only conclude that DVC is extremely profitable for Disney.

I have heard that they MIGHT turn that whole side into family suites, I think they are waiting to see how popular/profitable the family suites are. Then again, who the heck knows??

It really is too bad because it would be so great to be able to have another resort like Pop. Pop (the Classic Years is my favoriate resort) and if they built the legendary years, I would be there in a heart beat.

I'm sure Disney has plans for Legendary Pop - but they just won't tell us!!!!!

rumor has it they will start again in October.

they are building according to the original plan - I guess that is why they went to court.

so no new suites at Pop anytime soon. Now that doesn't mean that Disney can't change some of them into suites - while they open up the rest of this place.

we will see - October is not far off.

what is going up at the CR is yet to be announced. It could be DVC or it could be suites or a combination of both. betting on the combination.

all the resorts that have been done after Disney quit working on Pop - were in fact DVC.
