Any new news on expedition everest, like newest projection of release date?

We were just there last week and the sign posted said Coming 2006. Lemme tell you, that sucker is HUGE! There is no way I will be on that thing! DH just can't wait but that is not my cup of tea!

Everest is predicted to open April of 2006, somewhere around AK's anniversary date of the 22nd. Just in time for my trip in May of 2006, but not for yours in January.

Thanks Tiggerlover! I thought it was spring of 2006 but couldn't remember. I read somewhere that even though that is their official predicted time, they are shooting for fall of 2005. I don't know if this was a good source or not (can't remember where I saw it), but I can always hope!!

I can't wait to ride this ride!! I think it will be awesome. I saw EE construction in May, so I can't wait to see how far its come along when I am at AK this weekend. I think this ride is going to be a major improvement to the AK. -Steph

Disney must be pushing to have this done a little early. The construction workers were there on Saturday.

I was over with a group of travel agents last week and we had Disney travel agent training one morning and I'm sure (but not positive) that late 2005 was mentioned. I hope so as I will be back in December next year!
