Any new Minnie Van rumors?

What is everyone's recollection of general cost from resort to park? Not sure I will rent car next
trip.

I thought I read they were returned to Chevrolet just for standard maintenance and deep cleanings, and then returned back to Disney (hence why they are parked at Epcot now).

I think we paid $40 to get from Epcot to the Grand Floridian one night when I was just so exhausted. Worth every penny.

The issue with the Minnie Vans from a business plan is VERY busy early 7::00 am till 10:00 then dead , then VERY busy from 9:00pm to Midnight. No cm could/ would do a split shift or only wants to work 4 hours.

Can anyone remember how much a return trip from MCO to WDW used to cost? Wasn’t it something like $250 round trip?

Pricing
  • $155 each way—gratuity not included
  • Price includes up to 3 complimentary child seats if needed

I think when we went it was just $150 each way. Plus, we tipped 20%.

And this was $210 one way? Looks like fun 😁

Yup. $210 each way for as many as fit in there (I think it seats 8). Which is really not that bad a deal when you consider the Minnie Vans were $150 each way. This seats more, you can lower the shades, turn on whatever music you have, enjoy a nice drink. The chauffeur picks you up in the bag claim area, and literally rolls out the red carpet for you on the way back to MCO. Not sure I would do that every time (like I mentioned, they have a town car that is around the same price as the Minnie Vans), but it's fun to do once and have everyone at the resort trying to figure out what country you own. :rotfl2: But on a serious note, I really found the ride to be so much more relaxing. It rides like a band bus. Just close the windows, sit back and have a drink and before you even know it, they are pulling up to your hotel check in (or right to your room if for example you are at SSR or OKW) and did online check-in.

We liked taking this to MK and other parks. Last time we took uber/lyft to park hop and when we didn't want to wait for a bus. This time we are traveling with a toddler. To my knowledge, Minnie Van is the only option for car seats. I'm bummed because it saved time and was worth it for us.
