Any new, e-mails March 1 for free dining pincode?

Sorry to hear Dan. I've had a CM ]tell me the pins were pretty much at PR's random. I called last time and didn't get a bounce back either when i was there in December.

I called 407 393 7839 and asked them if I had any discounts for my household. She looked everything up and I did have a FD pin for the 4/23 to 8/13 dates, however she said mine was only for Deluxe or Villa's. 4 adults and 1 child (2 years at the time) are the same in a one bedroom Villa as in two Moderates. However, it moves the trip up 2 months...!!

This is not a Disney phone number! I just called that thinking its a different number than what I called so thought I'd give it a shot and it was some lady named Christine's home phone number. I left a "sorry wrong number" message on her machine!

One thing I was told by two different CM's, was that the pin holder could book up to three different reservations using the same PIN. I specifically asked if I could book in other peoples names, and then that other person would be responsible for the payments, and would be able to make changes, and both CM's confirmed that.

So...if you know anyone who will not be using their pin who might be able to do this for you, you could still take advantage of it.

That person would have to be staying at Disney the same time as you. Perhaps not in the same resort but they would need to either check you in or go to check in with you. Be careful doing that.

I got the free dining pin email this evening! I can't use it (man, I wish I could give it to someone who needs it), but I just wanted to give a head's up to check your email.

I would suggest just calling. They can look you up... MAKE sure you have them check all accounts. When you create a booking online, or a profile online, and also have called by phone and made reservations you have multiple accounts. I had 6 accounts and she had to look at 4 of them before she found the code. I knew I had the code because a CM told me I did a few days before but if I would of just went by the first account she found I would be been told NO i didn't have a pin.

Hope this helps a few people .

They told me that it's attached to your home address and not your online profile. So I had them check our previous and current addresses and nothing.

I have to say, I am absolutely heartbroken. We needed this pin code more than we ever have before and I am very, very close to cancelling our trip. I got a snotty cm, its just madness. I am happy for all of you who got this code but have to say, its killing me and dh beyond words to not get this code. I can't decide if I want to cancel (which will break my kids' hearts), switch to offsite, or just go and bite the bullet knowing we could be eating more for so much less. With two adult aged kids, to pay for the DDP during our holiday pricing is not even possible for us (quick or full).

And please if somebody desires to come on and tell me to just be happy and lucky to be going to Disney and have this problem, keep it to yourself.

I am pissed!

Hang in there! Just checked my email a few minutes ago and the FD pin was there. Maybe they just released them late. :confused3

I just booked my trip yesterday with a 40% off pin code and I just received the free dining pin code email today! I think there is definitely hope. :goodvibes

Yup, I got the email a bit ago, too, so the emails are going out.

I'll bet there's a public offer coming soon.

Ok, I have read through just a couple pages and I am disgusted with the people posting about bad customer service reps. Do you not think that you might be the 100th person they have talked to already today asking about PINs attached your name, your spouse, your kids, maybe the family dog has one.

Please remember that they are getting hundreds of calls today, many because of these boards. Treat them with respect and don't think they are just out o get you for some reason. No I don't work there :) I am a business analyst but do understand what they are going through.

I stopped reading the posts because most of the first ones were so negative that I did not want to be detered from coming back to the boards.

I can say I had a wonderful CM tonight, who worked very hard to find my pin and apply it to my reservation, and continued to tell me "Thank you for not getting upset with me while I am working on this." I continued to tell her I was not upset and that she was doing a great job. And that I was thankful to her, she didn't need to worry about Thanking me!! She found what I wanted and needed for my trip!!!

I understand how you feel. I go every year (minus 2009 because I was unemployed:rolleyes:) and I never get pin codes...I know we are lucky to be able to go, but knowing the trip could be that much better and easier to pay for would be nice, so I understand where you're coming from. I don't know how they pick and choose but it does kind of hurt your feelings! I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed that an offer comes out soon for my dates in September!:goodvibes That and save every penny I can! :)

I agree, I have very rarely had a CM that wasn't willing to help. And the CM(s) I spoke to today were so very helpful...yes I have spoke to a couple of them today :rotfl: I even asked that last one I spoke to if she had been dealing with calls like mine all day and she said yes. But she was still so polite! :cutie:

For those of you who didn't get a pin via e-mail and called to find out that there was no pin for you, don't give up just yet. I had no e-mail and talked to a CM who said no, there was no pin for me.

I just checked my e-mail and there it was! It arrived around 10 pm CST.

I have no explanation...

I got the pin about 6:30 tonight. Not very excited though because dh told me earlier tonight that he didn't want to go back to Disney this soon! :'( yes that is me crying

Just curious, has anyone that uses a Travel Agent ever received a PIN code? That is the only reason I can think of that I never get one.

Plus, since I am booked with a TA. Would I even be able to use it if I got one?
