Any new, e-mails March 1 for free dining pincode?

What number are you all calling? My husband just called the main number and asked if we had a PIN and he said they had no idea what he was talking about and were completely confused.

I called today and the CM asked me how I knew I had a pin. I told her I talked to someone last week and they told me I had a pin that started today. She was asking because she didn't know when the email was going to be blasted out. It will be some time today she thought but that could mean tonight (her words).

As of yet, I have not recieved the email. I had the pin (its already applied and we are getting free dining) in the system. It was for April to Aug. 13. We are staying at the Poly so we recieved the dining package.

I would suggest just calling. They can look you up... MAKE sure you have them check all accounts. When you create a booking online, or a profile online, and also have called by phone and made reservations you have multiple accounts. I had 6 accounts and she had to look at 4 of them before she found the code. I knew I had the code because a CM told me I did a few days before but if I would of just went by the first account she found I would be been told NO i didn't have a pin.

Hope this helps a few people .

I'm so confused, it seems to me that most people are getting pins. Are we just that unlucky? :sad2:

My husband called and we did have the free dining PIN attached to our name. I am currently booked under a 35% off room discount at the value resorts and the CM told my husband that we already had a better discount.

I was trying to do the calculations to see if the CM was actually correct and it seems to work out to around the same amount that would be owed.

Does that sound right to everyone?

See that's what I always wonder - which is the better deal - room discount or free dining? I'm waiting for any AP discounts coming too - I hate waiting!!!

I have to say, I am absolutely heartbroken. We needed this pin code more than we ever have before and I am very, very close to cancelling our trip. I got a snotty cm, its just madness. I am happy for all of you who got this code but have to say, its killing me and dh beyond words to not get this code. I can't decide if I want to cancel (which will break my kids' hearts), switch to offsite, or just go and bite the bullet knowing we could be eating more for so much less. With two adult aged kids, to pay for the DDP during our holiday pricing is not even possible for us (quick or full).

And please if somebody desires to come on and tell me to just be happy and lucky to be going to Disney and have this problem, keep it to yourself.

I am pissed!

I called and as told the only way I would have a PIN is if I had gotten an email. I KNOW some people have called without the email and gotten a code (and others haven't) so as always there is various info from various CM

When I first started reading this thread this morning, I was so jealous! :lmao: So I called and asked if I had a pin attached to my account... No. So I was most bummed. I would have saved $334. I'll keep wishin' and hopin' (wait. Isn't that a song?) :surfweb:

April 30 for booking it. There may be another offer after this one. Also, there is still hope a public offer will come. If it will happen that way it's usually after the pincode offer is released. I don't know if you have Disney Visa, but there could be an offer that will come that way, also. It's too early to tell if this is the only offer or if it will expand.

I think what just iced the cake was the female dog cm I got. I have yet to receive a pin and yet I keep going back. Honestly, from a financial standpoint, Disney is a horrible deal for us. We fly from Denver so sky high airfare, the DDP is now $47.99 a day for each of us, and my room discount would be so much better if Disney did things the way they used to in that I check in and the discounted rate is $134 then a few days later it jumps to $200, then back down to $185 for the rest of the trip. In the old days, by checking in when I am, I would have had that $134 room rate the whole time.

My brother and his wife are meeting us there and the way I feel now, I just wish they weren't, it makes it very hard for me to cancel because they have bought their airfare.

I have had two cm's now tell me that the liklihood of any sort of general offer for my June dates is slim to none. Which means nothing since the vast majority of cm's are uninformed and know less than we all do.

I feel for you, maybe you could stay offsite to save some money, I know its not the same, but how about if you stayed in downtown disney, you will still feel like you're on property and you could eat at Earl Of Sandwich every day, they're delicious and cheap .. ok well maybe only i could eat there every day:rotfl:

Don't give up hope yet, i'm with everyone else in thinking that free dining will happen !

Right with ya'. We must have talked to the same delightful individual. She informed me that I would have gotten an email, to which I said, "Oh, really? The current code I am booked with was told to me by a CM, and I did not get the actual email until 3 weeks later." I then asked her to check, to which she replied, "You have nothing." What a *****. Then, it was over. I want this code so I can upgrade from a mod to a deluxe. I know if I wait until it is public or they finally get around to emailing it to me, the CR Garden Wing will be booked out for the offer. I'm calling again this afternoon. Maybe if people point out the problem, they will fix it. It is just wrong that another poster called three times and then they "magically" found the code. I don't call that pixie dust, I call it BS from the beginning. This is poor practice on Disney's part.

I called 407 393 7839 and asked them if I had any discounts for my household. She looked everything up and I did have a FD pin for the 4/23 to 8/13 dates, however she said mine was only for Deluxe or Villa's. 4 adults and 1 child (2 years at the time) are the same in a one bedroom Villa as in two Moderates. However, it moves the trip up 2 months...!!

Well at least I am not alone. I too called back after reading the "3rd time is the charm" thread and still no pin. At least this cm was nice.

I also must say, I called probably 10 times the last time free dining pins were out there, they never found one. Then when the general offer came out (this was for October 2010) I was able to book. I called back a few weeks later to make some changes and it was then, all those weeks/months later I was told "hey, you have a pin". He said it was about to expire, no biggie I was already booked on the general public offer. But the bottom line was that at some point I did have a pin and no cm could ever find it when I called and I never got an email.

I don't know what frustrates me more. Not getting one, or knowing there is a slim possiblity that one is in the system someplace but nobody can or will find it.

Dh and I at this point are arguing and frustrated and if my brother wasn't coming on this trip too (his idea not mine but I still can't cancel our end and leave him hanging) I would have cancelled today, switched my airfare on SW to someplace else and told Disney "see ya".

I know I'll mellow out, its just hard. For my family for our dates, fd saves us about $1500 more than the room offer I currently have.
