For those of you who have ordered from JCP before, how difficult is it to return items? We tried finding some clothes that are available online in the store without any luck. We usually like to try on clothes before buying but may have to take a chance with ordering. Can items be returned to the store? I assume shipping is not reimbursed if we do this?

Dear poohj80, It isn't hard at all to return things purchased online. Basically just go to the catalog desk and you can return. A heads up:a jc penney rep. told me that you can return w/out a sales receipt-all you need is your phone number. She said that corporate had sent this notice to all jc penney return desks.If you get hassles just remind them that you heard this from corporate!.

My DW bought shoes from the catalog, she ordered the wrong size, so we called the catalog center they sent the new size shoes with NO shipping because we already paid it once and we took the other shoes back to the store.
No problem at all
