Any moms that don't change poopy diapers?

I only had 2 with DH for this reason(and a few others). DH pulled the 'gag' card almost every time. Sorry, but it almost felt like being a single parent. He didnt mind too much the process of getting them here, but they were pretty much my kids after the delivery.

My friend's DH was basically a single parent with his first 4 boys. Then when he married my friend and they decided to have a baby he told her she was doing all the diapers. He did it by himself with the boys, she could do it herself with this one. And she did!! Not once did he change a diaper.

My DH was great. He didn't have to be asked to change DD he just would if it needed to be done.

Dh and I had a deal, he would clean up vomit, I got all the dirty diapers. I jumped all over that because I was forward thinking enough to realize that someday the kids would be out of diapers but they still vomit even as teenagers :thumbsup2.

:thumbsup2
We had the same deal. It is excellent. And I also invoke the agreement to this day when the dogs get sick. And I have delegated doggie doodoo pickup to those who are now out of diapers and able to pick up the yard.

It is indeed a sweet deal!

By virtue of being a stay at home mom I got stuck with most of the dirty diapers. DH would help if he were home and definitely if I went out and he was alone. He also does most of the throw up cleanup, the smell, sight or even just hearing that going on makes me really sick and he doesn't care so he does it (thank god because I've cleaned it and basically have to do it with my own bucket right next to me)

We were "equal opportunity" parents - as were my DD and her DH when DGD was a baby..

I find it odd that a dad would say this - and even more odd that the mom would be okay with it..:confused3

My first son died of meconium aspiration. I have another term for it. :sad1:

 I am sorry too. I had two kids with meconium births and almost lost the youngest. He also had a knot in his cord so went with out oxygen for some time. I was lucky and got a miracle - he is fine now. I'm so sorry about your son.
