This will be our first trip to Disney, and I am bringing my daughter (who will be 8), by myself! Although people like my mom and grandma are worried about this, I am nothing but excited!!

I hope you have a good move. It must be really hard to pack up and leave when you live so close to WDW. Thanks for being willing to adopt meChristypl said:If you are potty trained I will adopt you!
We are close. I live about 20 min from WDW. But sadly I move to GA in a week.

A couple of those years, we went with someone else (my Mom or my now husband) but for a few years, it was just the two of us. It was a really wonderful time for the two of us, filled with many, many magical memories!

freckles and boo --> I also have asthma and a child with ASD. Touring the parks definitely gets easier as they get older...although my DS now has a touring plan of his own that we must stick to!

We still use our GAC to help make touring the parks a little easier for all of us.

At first I was a bit nervous being alone with a child ...but once we arrived all my fears were put to rest. I did however make sure she had emergency info on her at all times in case we got seperated or God forbid something terrible happened to me...that way she always had our home #, WDW room #, my cell phone# etc.and was instucted to go to a CM if we ever did get seperated. We had the best time ever !!!!
