Hello everyone! I have been reading on here for weeks and finally decided to register and ask a few questions! My family is taking a trip to DW February 8-16th. Our group includes myself, my husband, 3 kids (twin 5 year olds and 1 year old), my MIL and FIL, my brother and SIL. We are all on the dining plan and we are staying at POP. My question is this...has anyone ever experienced a mistake on the number of meal credits remaining on their card? Like say you are supposed to have 5 snacks left but for whatever reason the computer shows 2 or something like that? If so, how do you get it fixed? Have you ever had to pay OOP because of this?

Also, we have our reservations made for our TS's, but are still needing one more. We are throwing around the following: Kona, Ohana, Concourse, and Maya. Which do you suggest?

And...what do you think ride queues will be like that week?

Thanks everyone for your help!

mistakes can happen just keep your receipts and they can make corrections to the credits if needed..

Kona breakfast .. A+++++++++

Please make sure you check your receipts each time you use your
card, it is best to try to keep a list of how many TS you used. Everything
was fine when we left Canada, but the very next morning we had a
character breakfast, as soon as the server brought my receipt, I realized
that a mistake was made, but the restaurant server could not fix the mistake.
We were in MK so we went to the city hall and had it fixed their. What
had happen was that Canada had swiped my card twice for my 2 adult
TS meal.(Two adults meals twice = 4 adults meals). This was fixed through a phone call back to our hotel, the cm could see that it was the charged twice. (But we did not pick up the mistake until the next day when the number of TS left did not match what I had wrote down on my little list). The mistake was very easy to correct with no problem, but the little list really helped, as I was sure the number of TS that should of been left on the card. So my advice is to keep track of them and check your receipts. (This also happen to my daughter, same night, same restaurant.) The snacks and Cs we did not keep a close count on.

We had a huge mistake happen that really scared me on our tickets last time I was there.
We booked a room but still had our tickets left over from our last visit. They were 7 day hoppers No Exp. with 3 days left. At check in we decided to upgrade them to 9 day, and we paid, I think, a hundred and 70 dollars or so.
Well! We get up the first morning to go MK and there was no problem. But the next day we get up and go to AK and the ticket machine rejects our tickets! I went over to Customer Service and they said our tickets were something bizzare like, 8 day base or something, and I was really quite worried at that point. I thought we were going to end up losing 4 days worth of tickets!

But actually the Customer Service guy was v. nice, v. helpfull. I explained the quite complicated story of the three trips and four upgrades our tickets had gone through, and he fixed them right up!

The people at Disney, in my experience, have always been so helpful. They are def. no trying to scam or nickel and dime you, like some places (NOTE: Do Not Eat At Planet Hollywood!)

So, we had a huge mistake happen to us, but it was fixed v. quickly and the CM's were awesome. :)

I think mistakes are pretty common. We were double swiped at an ice cream cart. The guy thought he had done it but couldn't fix it. The could and did fix it at the hotel but they didn't seem to believe me 100%. We bought 2 ice creams at the cart and then 2 of us shared a popcorn bought at the cart next door. They first tried to tell me that they just charged us separately for 4 ice creams and I had to really explain that we really just had 2 ice creams and that they could look at the popcorn charge. We did not charge extra meals on our room key to keep confusion down we used our visa rewards.

My breakfast at Kona was terrible. It was right after they reopened the restaurant as Kona (forgot the old name), but my eggs were so hard cooked (and they were not supposed to be) you could have picked them up with your hand and tossed them back and forth like a frisbee.

We ended up with extra TS credits and the only thing we could figure was that they did not debit our TS credits at HDDR. I think our snack credits were wrong also.

Just check your receipts after every meal. I've read that they can fix the credits at the hotel also.

Love Kona for breakfast! We started a tradition a few years ago that we hit Kona for the first breakfast of every trip. Yum!

We had an issue the first time we tried the DDP back in Dec. 2005. Everything was going well until breakfast one am and the waitress said your card has no credits left. Not possible we had 8 left (party of 4). I gave my cc and she couldn't get that to work, gave a second cc and she couldn't get that to work. Light goes on for me--she is not processing something correctly. I call my CC co. to double check using the cell phone while the manager called the resort to check on meal credits. It showed I had 8 credits and so they had to manually deduct them?. Long story short no problem with my cc, no problem with my DDP credits, some small problem with the last part of the transaction not being keyed in correctly. After we had dinner on our last night I noticed that we were still showing 4 credits though I had used them all, I stopped at the front desk and had them make the necessary adjustment since I knew I had used them as well as the particuliars--didn't want the waitress from breakfast not to get her tip.

never been to Kona but love Ohana!!

we had a mistake on our trip in April. We had a ton of Adr's since we were there 10 nights. We went to CRT and they should have taken 6 credits off (3 of us) and they only took 5 credits. I went to the desk at our resort and told them about the mistake. they said since it was in our favor, not to worry about it. My ds5 got SICK!! We had adr's for Mickeys backyard BBQ and for the Fantasmic pkg that we had to cancel due to him being ill. They did not charge us anything for cancelling. I think the BBQ we had to secure it w/a cc... but they did not charge us anything. They couldn't believe we were cancelling the Fantasmic pkg... I said.. I don't want to but I have a ds5 that is not in any shape to be leaving our hotel room!! so they took care of everything and were very helpful through the whole trip. Pop was great, they even brought us new bedding in the middle of the night when ds got sick.
