There have been no reports of a touchdown in Metro Davidson county (aka Nashville) on our news (I'm 6 miles from downtown and 2 miles from the airport) The damage in Davidson county is in Goodlettsville (tornado damage) and a few trees and powerlines in Bellevue.

Fairgrounds are fine, my shop is near there and they hardly saw any activity in that area of town.

A native Tennessean (and still a Tennessean at heart) here sending you all my thoughts and prayers. I phoned my mom in East Tenn. and they are interupting the TV shows every 10 minutes with updates. They are reporting that storms are coming her way, but seem to be lessening in intensity.

Warren County checking in! Sparx, myself and the family are fine. We had two tornadoes touch down. One north of us, one south of us. We have had three people in our county be killed in the storms. We had some serious hail, lots of lightening, and some thunder and wind. It seems to be winding down, but I was worried there for a while!

Wow, so glad you are okay! We just had another big wave of rain hit, but still no hail or anything other than a strong wind and rain. It's moving really quickly.

Just got off the phone with my family in Hendersonville and Gallatin. Everyone is ok, power is out to most of my families houses. My father had to ditch his truck and walk home after the storm because most of the roads were impassable. They went out a little while ago to pick his truck back up and said there is alot of damage, my mom said it was so bad that it brought her to tears. Did anyone see the video of the tornado captured on a camera phone at Vol State?

MSN home page and the local news reporting 10 dead in Tennessee. The local news has had the 2 evening anchors and 2 weather guys on all the time since I turned the TV on at 8:00. So far in my area of Knoxville, there is only lots of wind and some thunder and far-off lightening. Not even a drop of rain yet. But I've been expecting it to get rough any time now. Hopefully the worst of it will miss us in the valley.

I haven't seen that! It is bad, we have several girls in my office that gave up on getting home at all and are staying with other employees here in Nashville. Glad to hear your family is safe.

My Mom lives in one of the Subdivisions that was devastated, Plantation Trace in Gallatin. That is also across the road from where those larger more expensive homes are that got destroyed, She got extremely lucky and got no damage. We live in Hendersonville we also had no damage.

I am in Hendersonville! My family and I are safe... I have friends that lived in those areas ... they lost their homes... I know a Church was destroyed part of the building that had a daycare was not touched! It had 40 children in it! What a blessing! Also.. one of my friends... her and her child got in her closet and all that was left standing in the house was her closet! She was just thankful her and her child was not hurt! Prayers to everyone involved!
