Any May goers going crazy waiting for codes?

Hi all,

Hope everything works well for all of you awaiting october through december codes.

Alas my trip is booked for May, and I have a long time to wait. I think I'll have a nervous breakdown by then.

Do all the code rooms really go so quickly. Seems like these old codes were available a long time

No. I've never had a problem getting a room with a code or discount. But then we're a little flexable with wherever we want to stay. We usually have 3 resort choices.

We are also planning a visit in May and can't stand the waiting for codes. It will be quite a while before we see those May codes though. Even worse than waiting for the codes is waiting for the airlines to start selling tickets for May. The discounts we get on the airline tickets can make the difference between whether we stay at a value resort or a deluxe resort. Maybe one day I'll win Lotto and I won't need to wait for discount codes or airline specials any longer. Wish me luck!!!

We are going in Dec, and DH and I went out for our anniversary dinner today, since I have to work tomorrow. Well, most of our conversation was if the codes were good, could we upgrade to the Contemporary! Of course we reasoned that it's so much easier with strollers and two kids!

I think that waiting for the codes has been killing me,and raising my blood pressure a little too.

At least its nice to know that the wait will sonn be over.

Don't worry, this past May when we went I waited forever (it felt like) for codes, but, by the time the trip rolled around we had several different options to choose from.

Married 2 grumpy - funny we just moved to jersey from LI. We used to fly southwest out of McArthur. THe hard part about planning so far in advance is also the airline tickets. I already bought our tickets because I got good rates out of Atlantic City on Spirit. Didn't want to pass them up.

Hi Leah, we went in May of last year too, I remember getting $89 for POR. We're doing AKL this time, but I do recall discounts being around. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good ones this time since I need 2 rooms this time around. I'm also buying an AP since we're going for 10 days, so that will be another option.

Ok, I'm a newbie here and have a couple of questions. I am looking to go in Feb. I haven't made reservations yet because I am waiting on new codes. So my questions are...

1. do i make ressies now and hope to do better with a code

2. since there are a limited number of rooms per resort w/ a discount code, should I have more than one resort in mind?

3. what if I make ressies now and miss out on the code because the line was busy or something silly like that? (don't laugh it always happens to me).

We are booked at WL for arrival May 4 and using DC also, i didnt know a person could use all the other codes you have listed at the same time as well as the posted codes coming up this winter. We are also considering using the Discovery Magic Plan, I wonder if you can use the codes on this? Anyone????

didn't mean to add confusion to the topic, but i believe that you can only use one discount...either code, or ap, or dc, etc. i'm just looking at what the potential is for a discount-i hope that codes or ap lead to better rates, but will use either aaa or dc as a last resort. sorry to mix it up!

Definitely book your ressies now. When a discount for our time period comes up you can have CRO change your reservation and apply the code.

It's killing me seeing all the new codes. I hope we get some good ones for May

Oh my gosh it is no problem at all, I am just so excited to go to WDW next year. Trying to find the best thing to do here also!! Good luck on using the codes also!!

All these code posts are making me very excited. I can just feel the magic all around the boards today! We are booked for early May also. Are the AAA discounts still suppose to be out July 29th? What % usually applies to May {regular time}? We had 20% when we went in November two years ago. Will May be 10 or 15% do you think?
