Any luck with National ID's and Coupons codes

Anyone have any great rates with certain ID numbers and coupon codes for National in March. The best combo i have found is ID 8572987 and coupon ND2119071Q. The ID is for visa card holders with a 20% off rate and the coupon is for $35.00 five days or more. Im curious what others have had better luck.

Holy cow--I just saved over $100 by changing my reservation and using these codes! These beat anything I found with entertainment.com.

I first put in my info with no codes and got a price for PHX in April and when I put the Corporate ID in, the price went up on the car but then discounted it to equal the same as if I didn't have the corporate ID....Weird, right? Am I missing something?

I must be the only person in the world who doesn't benefit from that "magic" code.
Using the Visa code my total is $184, but with the Carlson code my total is $149. Then using a BJ's coupon for a free weekend day my total drops down to $119. Maybe it's because I'm only booking a 4 day rental, I don't know.

I just got a great deal going through Costco and using some other mystery code at Alamo.

The new problem is I booked it for my P's and they aren't the Costco members!

   NATIONAL CODES:
   National will usually have the best one-way rates, But you have to mix and match.
   Remember National allows you to use multiple coupons (up to 3) with a corporate account. But not all coupons can be used together with each other.

I am a little surprised that the rates for National have not come down since I orginally booked our trip in March by in December. I have decided to rebook and book a SUV with National. It only costs me $37.00 more for 9 days compared to booking EA.

Is there any other coupon that can be used with the visa promotion and $35.00 off coupon? My difference between National and Dollar is $100. That's one more character meal for me! I want to use National. I even emailed them and asked them to match Dollar but they said no.

The only additional coupons you can combine are free day coupons that come from Emerald club rewards. Dollar do have some really good rates on Minivans and Convertibles - you may not be able to beat them with National. You could try some different combinations of codes for National, the visa and $35 is not always the best.

DBIL just turned in his car rental at MCO today using the Visa code and $35 coupon, no problems, and his total was $172.07 for Emerald Aisle...for one week.

Some idiot scraped my back bumper in one of the parking lots while at Disney.
When we returned the car, the check-in person saw the scrape and sent us to the front office. The man there looked in his computer and told us we were all set because the contract came with the insurance and they would just touch it up.

Total time for check-in still only took about 5-10 minutes. I was glad I found that code on this site.

You going to have to do an emerald reserve and pay the extra. There is no way of knowing that a minivan will be available. I used emerald aisle 4 times in 2007 and never saw a minivan once and I don't travel during any holiday times (always week days). You could do a back up with dollar or alamo for a minivan. Actually Dollar has a good deal for minivans right now if you're an AE card holder. Other than that click on their specials.

So with the Visa code the extra insurance is included?!

I guess that is what it means when all the extra fees on the confirmation form say "Included."

I wouldn't take the chance. I know Dollar is sold out of minivans for that time frame and has been for awhile. It's a BIG family time of year. I have a minivan for that same time frame from National and was glad to get it at a reasonable price with ths coupon.

Wonderful! I never buy the extra insurance but now with this code, I'd be very happy to have it just for ease in processing like you had. I used the code for a trip to NY in May and actually an spending about $15 more than I would with Alamo for the rental just because National comes with all the insurance.

Dollar has been sold out for minivans for the week before Easter since before Christmas.
