I have booked a minivan for December in Tampa. Hoping for a code or coupon to use. Is their a shuttle for National in Tampa?
I think you are correct about the length. I would love to have saved the extra $5, but no complaints on the $177I am not sure why the $35 coupon is not working for you. I have booked March 11 to March 18 (about 6 1/2 days) so maybe that is why???
I have read elsewhere (don't remeber now where) that the $35 coupon was suppose to expire end of dec but it has been extended BUT I have no idea if this is true or not.
I think if you are worried re using it then stick with the $30 coupon. i got the $35 to work so I am going to stick with it. Yes $172 and change for my time Emerald Aisle (this is with the great Visa contact id)

especially without any codes, rentals are running about $79.00 a day or more because we are going to be down during spring break.

We used the code also, 2/19 - 2/16....They also asked us if we wanted to use our amex that was on file.
I could not get the $35 code to work. I am only having the car for 6 days even though it is considered 1 week. I am wondering if you need to have the car for 7 days![]()
).

Can you mix this Visa code with a coupon other than the national coupon? For example, Visa code with Entertainment book coupon for free weekend day?
Thanks!

Thank you so much Connie! That is good news. We leave in 2 weeks and can hardly wait!We used the visa code successfully last week. Total charge was what the national web site said. Since we didn't look to rent for the last minute trip until a couple weeks before the trip, we saved like $250 (about half) of what the suv rental price was for all the other discount codes.!!!
So, it at least worked fine at the MCO.
Connie

for those not needing a weekly rental - here's another coupon $15 off a 3-day weekend rental http://www.nationalcar.com/index.do?action=/hotDealsTemplate&msg=ZL_15Off_3day_coupon
that being said, the rates at Enterprise (with the Entertainment book coupon) were a few bucks cheaper than National for a std. SUV 4/30 - 5/6/08 so you might want to surf on over to Enterprise's web site as well.
I put this in a new thread, but here is my post:
Wanted to share my two National experiences. We had two different rentals. One 7 day rental using the Visa International Code and the National $35 coupon. We picked up a red Chevy Impala on Emerald Aisle last Friday and will return to airport this Friday. There were minivans on the aisle but due to gas prices, we chose a chevy for 4 adults. Nice car, plenty of trunk space.
Yesterday my DH and myself took a disney bus from AK park to the Dolphin to pick up my one day rental. We got a Toyota RAV4, red, very nice. I used my one day free promotional code from the Nov/Dec promotion and only paid $2.64 for the 24 hour rental. Not bad. I put in approx. 1 1/2 gallons of gas in for $6.00.. Gas price was $3.169 at the HESS gas station by the DTD.
We are now sitting at the Jet Blue gate 112. OUr 235PM has been delayed until 4:40PM
My brother in law will return the Chevy on Friday when he returns to the airport.
Both rentals were for an intermediate....
