Not me! I have about 330$ for ten days through Alamo at MCO for a Standard. Maybe that's not bad, but I would like it to be lower! I keep trying, but nothing better has come up yet!

I don't know your dates but you can try Budget using BCD Number x474200 (travelocity public code) and E-coupon MUWZ023 for $25.00 discount which will be applied against total price at checkout.

Me, too. I have a standard car through Enterprise for 8/15-8/23. My rate is $246 with tax. Maybe I should just be happy with that since nothing better is coming up for rates.

Thanks - I tried this code and it was almost double what I am paying now! Atleast it makes me happier with the rate I have! Thanks again...I will keep combing the boards for discounts!
I just checked rates again today (we are travelling Aug 14-22) and it looks like the rates have gone down a little. Try logging onto Dollar without any codes and hit the city special tab- just got a mid size car for the 8 days for $250. total.
Thanks...I that is about $20 cheaper for me. Maybe I should switch over -Does anyone know if a Sonata is comparable in size and roominess to a Pontiac G6? I am not sure!

Wow, I must be traveling at the wrong time. We are traveling Aug 4th 8:00pm til August 12th 8:00am and I clicked on the city special. It's giving me a mid size for a base rate of $371.77 and a total of $475.80!
Luckily, I have a reservation I made with National months ago for a total of $258 for a mid-size (emeral aisle). I thought it was high at the time but it's turning out to be a great price for me.
By the way, for those of you trying Priceline, good luck. I've been trying daily for 2 weeks and haven't had any luck. Last week, I bid $20 per day for a full-size car and it came back with an offer of $25 per day. I didn't take it but I'm thinking I probably should have. That would have been a total of $295 for my stay. I tried yesterday to bid $25 for the full size and it was rejected.
I have been trying priceline lately with no luck myself. I won't give up though - I can't stop trying when I know that there is a possibility of a better deal out there!
My parents just booked a trip to FL for early August thanks to southwest's great fare sale. Unfortunately, now I cant find them a rental car for a reasonable price! 8/2-8/12 is coming up $500+. Im going to start trying priceline tonight.
I've noticed Enterprise rates keep fluctuating. I just found $152/ 6 days (8/22-28) using the 10% off code through the Entertainment Book. The rate was listed for $168 (includes all taxes) on Expedia -- not bad! Alamo's rates have also dropped (same dates were $200 instead of $400+ like they had been).
I check Enterprise for my days August 22 to 30 I got $208.00 for a full size using the bjs code. Needless to say am going to cancle my other reservation. $40 in my pocket is better. Michelle
My rental car just got cheaper! I just checked again with car rental savers and at Enterprise my ten day car went down to $267 (from $337 with Alamo and then $270 with Dollar). And I think it got a little bigger too! I feel a little better, I had a good rate with dollar but heard that quite a few people had not so good experiences with them.
With employer code and $30 coupon, we are looking at $200 for 7 days in a mid-size SUV. August 28 to September 4. Employer code has set rates with Avis and usually we can't beat them anywhere else.
