Any line queues not to be missed

First time at DLR so I have not seen anything. We typically use FPs heavy but is there any line we should definitely take our time going through so as not to miss the often overlooked theming. What's your favorite queue?

Indiana Jones
Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin

In terms of rides with a FP, I think that Roger Rabbit has the best queue that most folks miss. (I can't remember where the FP entrance is, but I'm guessing you don't walk the entire inner queue.) Roger Rabbit is probably one of the most detailed and well done queues; it's just deceptively long!

For the other attractions with a FP, I think the next best queue is Indy. There are elements from the "expedition" in the outside queue area (standby line). If you've used a FP for Indy, you've already seen much of the queue. I think that if you really want to see/enjoy Indy Jones, you'll have to let folks behind you go ahead of you; otherwise, you walk through much of the queue without really having a chance to look at it. I still like trying to decode all of the writing on the temple walls.

I do like the Star Tours queue once you get inside the main building. Again, you've seen this part of the queue even if you used a FP for the ride. ToT also has an interesting queue, once you get into the hotel itself.

In terms of the rides without a FP, I do think Jungle Cruise has an interesting queue. I do also like the first part of the HM queue (so many people breeze by the pet cemetary without looking at it or reading the tombstones).

I also vote for HM,Indy and Rogers having great queue's. We are the family that tells people to go ahead of us as we need to check it all out!

A few others in DCA:
-Monsters, don't rush through here, the news reports and advertising are funny!
-ITTBAB-listen for the sounds as you walk toward the theatre, also the posters on the wall are funny to read (especially if you haven't seen the movie)
-I personally think while the queue is pretty for RSR, it is not as interesting as some others.

DL:
-the pre-show before you go in the tiki room is a favorite of my families
-the queue while waiting for your turn at Pixie hollow is also really well done.

Have a magical time!

The Roger Rabbit FP return bypasses the queue. The RSR FP return you will pass the structures in the middle but miss the signs on the wall in the switchbacks, though you can still kind of see them. Pretty much nothing else bypasses the queue when you return. For Soarin', Space, Star Tours, ToT, Splash and BTMRR you are seeing the entire queue. Apparently for Indy there are some items outside, but you see everything inside, which is like 95%. On Autopia I think you bypass some advertising. It's been probably 10 years since I've done standby there, but it's wasn't all that special. Goofy's Skyschool, GRR and Screamin are just basic outdoor queues. I think that covers all of the FP rides.

If you go single rider on Splash or Indy you will miss most of the queue. On RSR it's equivalent to the FP queue. On Matterhorn, GSS, GRR, Screamin and Soarin you're not missing anything, though Soarin doesn't save you much time.

I agree with most of these, except NOT Roger Rabbit, nevernevernevernevernevernevernevernever again. My family had a bad experience. I was not one of the people who actually did it, but according to those who did, they played like mournful dirge type music the whole time and there was room after room after room after room after room after room after room after room etc etc etc etc. Maybe it was just overly crowded when they did it, who knows. The ride itself isn't bad apparently, but now we just avoid Toontown all together.
Anyway.
RSR is great, the bottle cap room is SO pretty!
And yeah, pretty much everything else said I agree with! Love the HM one, and Indy, and yep, that's about it.

The issue I have with the Roger Rabbit queue is that there's a turn like every 3-4 feet. The kid behind me must have walked into my butt 6 times. It is deceptively long, it moves slow, and it can get a little humid. I haven't tried it, but if hope it moves faster now with DAS as opposed to GAC, with possibly less people being loaded per hour through the accessible queue, but not sure how much impact that might have since they seem to really pack people I to the indoor portion. If you love Roger Rabbit, I'd say it's worth it to do once. If you just like that movie, the details on the ride are probably sufficient.

I'm voting for Dumbo, on a hot day, around 4:00 PM. NOT to be in, mind you, but to drink a nice, big cup of water in the shade and watch the parents come unglued after a long day in the sun. :)

My kids have always enjoyed the Big Thunder queue and the Star Tours queue. There's a lot of details in BTMRR that you just can't see while zipping around.

My favorite line queues are: Indiana Jonas, Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spring, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. In California Adventures: Luigi's Flying Tires, Radiator Springs Racers, and Grizzly River Run.

BTMRR is our new favorite queue but this may be affected by the fact that its now our new favorite ride! The FP queue is just a quicker version of the standby as you basically walk right beside SB with a rope separating the 2 lines.

Luigi's has an absolutely incredible queue (though no FP), it may even be better than the ride! Take a minute or two to check out the office, just before you go back outside at the back of the tire shop. Even outside, everything is automobile or Cars themed - the gate, the bushes, even the floor. It's quite detailed.

But, the grand daddy of them all is Indy. It really gets you in the world of the attraction so by the time that you get to the ride vehicles you are fully immersed in this environment and time they've created. And there is zero filler, the whole queue, and it is a long queue (you are basically walking outside of the park), is jam packed with tiny details. Some spots will take you a second but then you go "Ohhh, I get it!" The FP line runs right next to standby, so you get the whole experience no matter what.
