Any Lilly Pulitzer fans get successful at Target yesterday?

I just read that there are 38,000 Lilly for Target items on eBay. And apparently at 300% to 800% more than their original prices in many cases.

I noticed a lot of items were not selling though. I think the amount of stuff that is being resold will diminish even more significantly in the coming days.

I belong to a few Lilly pages on Facebook and members are encouraging one another not to buy from these sellers. People have 14 days to return their items. The idea is that if people don't buy the eBay sellers will take the items back to Target and get their money back and people will have a chance to then buy the items at retail. I'll guess we'll have to wait and see. It's crazy. Lilly for Target shift dresses are priced higher than original line shift dresses.

I actually feel it is "prostituting the brand" by taking it from a boutique only item to a mass market item, but that's IMHO. If I'm going to shell out hard earned $ for a special, high end boutique only item I want to feel that I'm not getting cheated by the fact that someone can buy the same brand at a big box store. Looses the cache of the brand. In this case it appears to be a one off collaboration, not a regular product in the target line and they most of what is being offered are items never made or sold in the boutiques (cushions, towels, etc).

I really hope that this backfires and the ebay sellers have no luck selling these pieces, I will be so happy.
I had 2 sundresses in my hand that I thought were my size on Sunday and they were too big, I put them right back so someone else could have the chance to get a piece or two.
All I wanted was a darn hat for my Hawaii trip and was unsuccessful. oh well I will find another one.
