First time at HH. Forecast is calling for isolated or scattered showers each day. Im assuming thats the norm and equivelent to the afternoon showers at Disney during the summer months.Any last minute tips to make our visit more enjoyable?

Also, does anyone know the cost to rent chairs at the beach? Im wondering if we should try to fit ours in the car or just rent them!

When we were there in April it was $20 or $25 per day for 2 chairs. I think you get a little break if you rent for more than 1 day--not sure. Have a great time. The weather pattern has included afternoon showers. We're looking forward to spending more time at our home resort--it was so relaxing in April.

You may want to buy some cheap chairs close to HH and just leave them there or give them to some family who just got there. It would be cheaper than renting them.

Don't sweat the weather! There are areas at the beach house pool that are "under cover" should a storm strike. Also at the resort there are covered areas where they do the crafts. The porches on the rooms are covered also. HH weather is weird like Florida. The day my hubby took the kids on the dolphin tour it POURED -- not lightning but driving rain ( it was that tropical storm Bill or Bob that came in July...) Anyway, I was back at the room thinking he and the kids would be soaked but where they were on the boat -- just a mile up the inlet -- it didn't rain a drop! The video they made looks back at the resort under a big gray cloud of water!

Have fun!
