any last minute BLT add-ons?

We just satisified our add-onitis.

We added two BLT contracts, the first for 75, the second for 50.

I'm dying to an add on but was waiting for a commission check before doing so. Now I'm not so sure. I don't want to dig a hole where it doesn't need to be.

I was wavering on whether to buy some more points. So, finally with my DW's approval , I purchased 70 points at BLT. This will allow us to go every 3 years in a one or two bedroom unit, depending on the season.

I have placed my SSR points for sale at TSS. Wish me luck... If I can't sell them, it will not be the end of the world, as right now my finances allow me to keep them. My hope is that after SSR points are sold, I may purchase a small resale contract at BCV or BWV. We'll see...

We are good for now and probably for the next few years.

I think once my youngest dd is out of high school (two more years), I can see us going down more than once a year (just dh and I) and I won't have to worry about school schedules/activities to driver her around. She will be hopefully a few years older/wiser, lol - where I can leave her, my sons and my other son (dog) all alone.

The plan is to go down once or twice a year with dh and when my "kids" want/can come down invite a friend or two.

I think it's a lot easier to get to WDW when the kids are young and/or when they are out of the house, lol.

You get the picture.

Everyone enjoy the extra points and all the planning that goes with it. I think it's the best part.

We bought a 27 point add on. Our guide paused and asked 'why 27?' I told her that we already had a 160 and 40 pt contract for blt. Adding 27 would bring us to 227, which in it self isn't important. Its enough for a 1 bedroom MK view in Sept. But I figured that at some point in the next 50 years I'm going to have to add on points at BLT again and that means buying 100 points so then I'd have 327pt's. Then I'd sell the 40pt contract and be left with 287 pts. Exactly enough for a 1 bedroom MK view in Oct. We usually vacation in Sept or Oct so we'd be covered either way. Our guide then understood the method to my madness.

Yea, I bit it and added 56 points to our original 160. That will give us enough for a 1 bd instead of a studio

Yep, I took the BLT plunge. Bought 2 51-point contracts yesterday. (why 51? 3 x 17 = 51, which means 3 nights at Christmas for each contract.)

I was on the fence for a long time. But now I am so excited! I can't wait to stay there!!!
