An update on my
Best Buy order.
My 'backordered' item turned into a cancelled order. Needless to say I wasn't very happy, especially since the person I talked to at BB never did call me back after he promised to the next day. His mistake was that he gave me his direct number. Once I received the cancellation number, I called and left a voicemail. I wasn’t as angry about the cancelled order as I was that he promised to call me back and didn't even have the nerve to do so prior to receiving the cancellation notice.
Within 10 minutes, I received a callback (from this person) and they offered me another computer that was selling at a higher price as a replacement. After looking at the difference between the two laptops, I was convinced I was getting a laptop that was at least as good if not better than the original I ordered so I went ahead with the offer.
I spoke with so many rude people at BB and I'm not sure if I will ever shop there again but I do appreciate everything that was done for me in the end.
I'm VERY tired of stressing over the laptop so now it's ordered (and shipped) and I can relax about it.
