Any Kate Voegele fans?

I picked up her new CD the other day and I really, really like it! I tend to lean towards male rockers, but I love this album. The awesome thing is that it cracked the top 20 this week

See, One Tree Hill is good for something other than eye candy! (Athough I think she's pretty smokin', too!) And I think she does a good job on the show when she's in character. Her "thank you" section in the CD was really nice. (Am I the only one who read those things???)

If you're a fan, did you know of her before OTH?

I'm also a Kate Voegele fan. She is a beautiful woman. I have both of her CD's. I do hope she has a big breakthrough moment someday.

I've been looking for the first one, but can't find it anywhere except on ITunes, and when I want an entire CD I prefer buying the hard copy. I'm weird that way

Did you "discover" her before One Tree Hill did? The blurb I read in Entertainment Weekly compared her to Michelle Branch, which I'm not feeling.

All three of us here love Kate Voegele! Her new album is awesome! Honestly, I had never heard of her or One Tree Hill until about a year ago when both my daughters got me hooked. Now, they are spending the summer giving me OTH lessons using the DVDs. I'm almost finished with season one now. Wow...can't believe I've missed such a great show. Kate's music fits perfectly with the show.

The storytelling on OTH is amazing. There's not an ounce of hokiness to it (and I love hokey, don't get me wrong!) But I think some of the best writing on TV today is done on OTH.

Totally agree with you. Although, I can't imagine OTH without Peyton and Lucas, but I know it will still be awesome.

My daughter is dancing to her version of when you wish upon a star for her dance recital. She is a good singer.

I downloaded her album from Zune Marketplace and am enjoying listening to it too.
