Does anyone have any more info on the status of the 'restroom challenged' using the Mickey Pool? Katie REALLY wants to know. (Okay, Katie doesn?t know what a Mickey Pool is, but her Mommy and Daddy want to know!!)

Recent Magic cruisers, did you happen to notice if there were wee ones in the Mickey Pool?

npall just returned from the magic and had their swimmie wearing child in the Mickey Pool w/o problem..........now my question is: are we talking about the mickey wading pool or the goofy family pool? My impression was that this centered around mickey pool, but now I'm not so sure..............

Ohhhh! Now that makes sense! I have no problem keeping the Katie Boo out of the Goofy Pool if that is the issue! I think when Disney builds new ships, they should move the Slide to the Goofy pool. I know that ruins the design conceptually, but then Mom's of the Wee little ones wouldn't complain about the bigger kiddies running over their wee ones in the Mickey Pool! :)

Good to know that it appears to still be allowed!!

I agree with Valerie, that Katie is a cutie pie! :earsgirl:

Thanks guys! You can tell she is our first, we love to show her off! *giggle*

She is a bit young to get the concept of Disney yet, of course, but she knows Tigger! He is all over her room. :)

Thanks again!

Well, I'm trying to be PC here. How do we KNOW that they truely are not potty trained? I mean Katie might know exactly how to go to the bathroom, but she can't talk or walk so how is she supposed to do it? :) Maybe she'd love to say "Mommy, I know I can't walk yet, but I must use the little girls room, could you take me?" but she can't talk so she has to settle for the diaper! *laugh*

Okay, maybe not. :)

We sailed on the Wonder 8/25. The Mickey pool was a favorite of my 2, 6 & 7 year old. It's only about 1.5' deep, so the little ones can walk/swim/splash away. Many adults enjoyed sitting in it also. The slide is only for kids, I think it said something like ages 4-14. The slide ends in aa area not connected to the pool (mickey ears), so there isn't the chance of a kid plowing over any swimmers. IMHO, te goofy pool was just that (goofy). It's small, only about 4' deep and is sunk well below the deck around it, as there is a sliding cover that closes it up to become a dance floor when the sail away parties occur each night.
