We will be staying in the GF Main Building on the 4th Floor. I was just wondering if anyone has stayed there and had any info on the rooms and what to expect. TIA!

The 4th floor is very nice, but unless you have some "inside" info, you really won't know which room you've been assigned to until you arrive. The club level rooms encompasse the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor of the main building. The 4th floor does have the lounge and room views can be of the castle, courtyard or beach. Our favorite room on the 4th floor is 4404 (nice castle view). The rooms themselves are basically no different in setup than any standard GF room. Other than you'll find 2 bathrobes already in the closet, as opposed to having to call housekeeping and order them. Was there anything specific you'd like to know?

I could add that there is private check-in, that the club level CM's sit on the 3rd floor, there are 2 private balconies for club level use (unfortunately no fireworks view though). Also, food offerings are available daily in the lounge. Beginning at 6:30am, they put out coffee, tea and juices. From 7:00am - 11:00am, there is a deluxe continental spread with cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, muffins, breads. From 11:30am - 1:30pm, you can find snack items. Sometimes a light salad, hummus dips, nachos. From 2:00 - 4:00pm, is afternoon tea with cookies, brownies, strawberry trifle (select days), scones with devonshire creme. From 5:00 - 7:00pm, cheese & crackers, vegetable trays, a few appetizers, kid friendly items, wine & beer. From 8:00 - 10:00pm, trays of mini desserts, including chocolate covered strawberries, petite fours and cordials.

Yummy, yummy, Tammi! Makes me want to arrive right now!! (at least for the breakfast portion...)
Another "how's the coffee" question: is it better there than most folks think of the coffee in general at WDW? Almost as good as the coffee at the Kona cafe??

My personal favorites include Kona and the french pressed version at the AKL. Unfortunately, you won't find that quality on the Disney club levels. I believe all of them are now using the Nescafe coffee machine.

Unless the Royal Palm does things different then the other Club Level floors and buildings, I thought Oatmeal was only served in what would be considered the colder months of the year? In November, December and etc. On the Atrium Club at the Contemporary I have only seen Oatmeal available in December and never during the month of August.

If it isn't available as a "fresh" item, we've never had a problem getting it in packets ;) .

We loved the cappuccino machine. We were just reminiscing about it today. Yum!

We stayed in the main building in room 4030 (5th floor) in August and loved it. The rooms have just been refurbished, so the furniture and linens are brand new! We also enjoyed the new large TV, and borrowed movies from the concierge desk a couple of times during heavy rain storms.

Here's a tip - I don't know if it's strictly legit or not... One annoying thing about the concierge lounge is that you can get canned soda to take with you but no bottled water, and remember that the faucet water tastes yucky. We ended up taking several of the glass Evian bottles from the lounge to store in our room fridge so that we'd have good-tasting water. We would refill plastic water bottles with the Evian in the privacy of our own room. It worked great!

Enjoy your trip!

I did notice that at the WL concierge lounge this year...

The CMs didn't care if you took the whole bottle?
