Any ideas for Disney coupons for kids (8 and 3)?

Our last trip to Disney was almost two years ago, when DS was 15 months old and didn't care what we did. This trip, he will have just turned 3 and DD will be 8.5. On past trips, we've been pretty laid back about just buying DD something when she'd see what she wanted, not as big a deal with just one child and knowing we only go about once every two years.

This trip, however, we will have two who may want, want, want.......so, I'd like to have some coupons made (hopefully by one of the DISigners) and I need ideas.

So far, I was thinking coupons for a stuffed animal or doll each (DS NEEDS a Duffy, lol, because he tries to take DD's constantly), a face painting or tattoo, choice of mouse ears......and then I'm stuck! LOL I know the kids will want stuff and I've been working some "overtime" for my job and really saving up because this may be our last "big" vacation for a few years.......so I really want a lot of coupons for what the kids will want......just to kind of keep it under control, if you know what I mean?

Can any of you add anything to my list to help me? I would love any ideas! And, yes, I do realize I could just watch what they want and buy it for them if I'm not going to be super tight on the purse strings with them, but I thought this would be more fun and would keep (especially DD) them from wanting just everything they see if they have some coupons with certain things they know they can pick out! :)

What about vouchers for a jigsaw, sunglasses and/or accessories e.g. Dress up clothes, hats etc?

How about a special treat? ( cotton candy, candy, ice cream) Or a balloon, light up toy, or a clothing item? (hat/t-shirt)

We gave them gift cards, and once it was spent, that was it. I don't know about coupons - what if they want a t-shirt instead of a stuffed animal? One of my kids spent all of her money just on pins.

Go look at the Creative DIS-igns board. There are several people over there who make coupons and you might get some ideas. I got lucky and my son's name is very popular, so I did a Google image search and found several, then printed them at the Target photo center. I did coupons for one treat in each park, one pair of Mickey ears, one stuffed animal, one build-your-own-lightsaber, one big souvenir of his choice (it was his birthday), one balloon, etc.

Thanks for all the ideas!! DD gets money from grandparents, etc for grades and stuff and has been saving it so she will have her own spending money for things I don't think of, but I would like to do a welcome basket or bag for each kid to get when we get there with these coupons and a few othe things in it.

I cut down on the souvenirs a ton by buying them little presents that "Mickey gave them" every morning. I went to Target to the dollar spot and the toy section, Walmart, I went to Disney Store, dollar stores, big lots, and Party City and ended up with lots of little things. (my kids were 8 and 4 for our trip)

I got things like lanyards, and lanyards with a mickey head filled with bubble solution...they loved blowing bubbles to other kids in line! Light up necklaces and rings and these other cheap things that looked like huge 3D stickers that you put on your shirt and pressed a button and made it light up. (No one else had them, so they felt special). Fans that also lit up... in Avengers and Cars, Disney T-shirts that I found cheaply from stores here with Disney characters, and playing cards that were heavily themed (cars and toy story).

I just found that it was enough for my 8 year old, besides 1 hat he bought.... and my little guy who is our shopper then picked out 2 souvenirs that we took home.

If you really want to do coupons.... suggest Mickey bars, maybe a free pass to not have their photo taken 1x, choose a ride of their choice that everyone goes on, pool time (if that's in the plans already), any special dining things you have planned, a late night (if you plan to do that)....

two things your 8 year old might like..my daughter is 8 and every year she gets a pick a pearl and a fan in china with her name on it.

We set limits before we went. Our girls had gift cards, that was their spend on what you want money. I told them they could each pick 10 pressed pennies they wanted (printed off the sheet on where to find what designs so they could know which designs they wanted) and I told them they could pick any one pin from the pin store in dtd on our last day. We bought/made stuff in advance like the autograph books/passport books/character shirts/princess dresses. They did really good in all the stores, they enjoyed looking at the stuff, but knowing the amount of money they had they didn't go crazy. This would work too because your younger child likely won't be all about wanting a ton so the amount on his gc could go towards Duffy

Here's some thoughts:
Pick a pearl
Vinylmation (my kids get one every trip)
Pin to Trade
Mickey Bar
Snack of their choice
Pressed Penny containers (see Creative Dis) for these, SO cute
Mickey Ballon
Mickey Ears
BBB or Pirate's League visit
