Any Ideas for 2nd week of Honeymoon?

Happy New Year Everyone. I am starting to get more excited now that I am getting married this year We are staying at Disney for the first week of our trip leading up to and a little after the wedding. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a nice offsite hotel for our second week. We are thinking of the Downtown Disney resort area but are up for any suggestions. Thanks in advance. Not sure what I would do without you guys!

Congrats! I would stay at one of the universal hotels at least for a few days since Harry Potter World should be open by that time and as a hotel guest you get Front of the Line priviledges, like having a FP for all their rides.

Yes, I would suggest Universal too. Were going on a Disney Cruise (a first for us!) we wanted to do something relaxing, after the cruise were going to spend a couple more days in WDW.

We did a cruise (Royal Caribbean out of Port Canaveral) the 2nd week of our honeymoon. It was very romantic! What about a place on the beach? There are a lot of options if you're willing to drive a couple of hours. If you decide to try DTD I'd recommend the DoubleTree Suites. We stayed there a couple of years ago and it was really nice!

If you want to stay in Orlando, Universal would be a nice change (although if you stay on property, their hotels are quite expensive). If you are thinking about possibly moving to the beach, the Tampa Bay/Clearwater/St. Petersburg areas are a little less than 2 hours away. All three areas are beautiful, and there are a huge variety of hotels with all different price ranges to choose from. You could also do a cruise out of Port Canaveral or Tampa.
