Hey guys! I have a quick question I need help with please. We are going to be at "the World" next week and we are flying in and using DME. We really want to go to the mall with Bass Pro/Shepler's in it. Any idea on how much cab fare would run to get us there or would we be better off renting a car from start to finish?

Approx $25-$30 plus tip each way, by taxi and about 20-25 minutes

If you're that serious about doing it you might want to consider putting that much money toward renting for your entire trip.
There may also be an option of using public transportation such as Lynx, for a lot less cost but probably 4 times the time.

If that's the Florida Mall, Lynx isn't nearly as time-consuming as skelooch thinks. Go to Downtown Disney. Get off at the Pleasure Island/WestSide stop. Walk to where the Lynx buses pick up. Board the Route 111 bus. It travels between the airport and Downtown Disney, and Florida Mall is one of the major stops.

Bass Pro Shop is located at the Festival Bay Mall, not Florida Mall.
According to the Lynx website trip planner, the trip between TTC and Festival Bay Mall is approx 1 hour and 15 minutes and appears to require a transfer of buses, between the link #111 and link #8.

Seems like getting there by bus is a bit of a pain.
