Any idea what AP rates will be like?

Well, since we're all waiting for the late-April to early-July AP rates, any guesses what we'll see? I'm hoping for $74 moderates, or maybe even AKL for $119 - I think that might be a deal I couldn't resist!

Someone posted the rates from last spring the other day. But I didn't save them.

I'm feeling like the discounts will be OK, but not great. With all these Visa deals out it makes me wonder.

I got a postcard in the mail that got me Coronado Springs for $74 per night in June. I was offered $124 for AKL during the same time. I think this is less than AP for last summer. But maybe it is a good indicator that rates will come out for summer. I don't have the Disney Visa or the AP. I just got lucky with the postcard.

Don't know if this is any indication, but in an All Ears newsletter recently, someone wrote an article about staying in FW. She had an AP and got a rate of $149 for a cabin! :bounce: The lowest I could get an AP rate for my sister last year was $169.00. :Pinkbounc Maybe this is a good sign that discounts will be decent this year.:teeth:

Last May & June:

>>>>Annual Passholder rates for 4/28/03-7/3/03: ask for Code *** and get up to 45% off rack rates! Discounted rates apply to all Disney resort hotels, subject to availability for your dates. Some sample rates:
· All Stars - $59 standard
· Moderates - $74 standard (very limited availability due to Port Orleans closings)
· Animal Kingdom Lodge - $124 standard, $201 savannah view, $280 deluxe savannah view, $365 concierge
· Wilderness Lodge - $124 standard (very limited availability), $139 woods view, $270 concierge
· Ft. Wilderness Cabins - $144
· Contemporary - $149 standard garden wing, $320 tower club
· Polynesian - $199 garden view, $285 lagoon view, $295 garden view concierge
· Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club - $215 standard, $365 water view concierge
· Grand Floridian - $275 garden view
· Old Key West - $270 one-bedroom villa <<<<

We split our stay last June between CBR and AKL. We had AP rates of $74/night at CBR and $124/night at AKL but were upgraded for free to savannah view upon check in.

Just wondering.... is it economical to purchase one if you only go once a year? Also what are the prices?
