Any hotels off Western Way?

We used to go Florida Turnpike, US-27 and US-192. For an upcoming trip we are checking in on NYE and I'm trying to find an offsite reasonably priced hotel close to WDW for the 30th. (Basically for a place to sleep before checking into WDW the next morning.) I know of one off US-27 that I would book if we went that way, but are there any off the new route?

Thanks for any help!

Miss the WDW/Hartzog exit off of 429 and about 2 miles and one ($1.00?) tollbooth further south you hit 192. If you do not choose the Howard Johnson motel and Ace buffet restaurant which are about a half mile further west on 192, you will probably end up further east on 192 at one of the many motels near the main entrance of WDW.

Nothing on 429 itself south of the turnpike, or on Western Way itself -- yet.

There are no hotels just off 429 (none that anyone would voluntarily stay at anyhow...) and Western Way is just an access road with nothing at all on it.

If you come down 27 the Holiday Inn Express in Clermont is supposed to be a perfectly good place to crash for a night--Poorman stayed there for a few nights when they were househunting in the area a couple years ago.

Also if you take 27 to 50 Estbound and go a couple miles there is a brand new Hampton on the north side of the road. If you continue on 50 headed east anouth five or six miles you'll come to an entrance for the 429.

Thanks. Actually that is EXACTLY the hotel I was thinking about Anne - the Holiday Inn Express on US-27. Every time we pass it we always say that would be a good place to stay for the night before checking in at WDW. This is the one off Hook Street? (I remember that cause Captain Hook. :p )

I'll probably just go ahead and book this for the 30th.

That's the one. It's basically next door to the Denny's. I live a couple miles down the road.
