Any Hotel Suggestion?

We (me, DW, DD4, DD-6-month) will stay at GF & SSR for 7 nights, and then head off to a 4-night cruise. Now we plan to stay in Orlando for another 2-3 nights before returning home. We would love to visit Sea World, Outlets, Florida Mall during these two/three days.

Any hotel suggestions? Preferably (but not necessary) close to airport (MCO).

I would go for Homewood Suites on International Drive or Near Universal. We are going on 8th Dec for 3 weeks and have half the time at Homewood Universal and half the time at SSR. We love Homewood Universal and we are paying $104 a night which includes a 2 room suite with kitchen. The beds are the best I have ever slept in. Part of me can't help thinking why I am spending so much for SSR when I could have stayed here for less than half the price, but hey, the dollar is 2 to the pound and its Xmas! I have stayed in both Homewoods, both are close to Seaworld and Florida Mall. Oh and you also get Breakfast and Managers reception. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I am checking it out - both look perfect for us. Just curious to ask, which hotel is newer?

Do they have two bedroom suites?

You can try Seralago Hotel. It is a nice hotel. Suites from $75.00. Lowest price guaranteed. If you want to save some money, I find that the coupon (save 40%) will be helpful for you. Search "hotel Florida" at dealstudio.com.

we just came home from a 3 bedroom suite and it was awesome!!
it was at the caribe cove resort, check it out!

let me know if you have any questions...

Not sure which Homewood Suites is newer, they were pretty similar. I think the one on International Drive is in a nicer part but personally I liked the one near Universal more. I am sure the rooms were bigger. Also the Air Con at the one on International Drive was so loud. We had ours switch off but could hear everyone elses. Saying that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at either. If however I didn't have a car I stay on International Drive as they had buses to Universal and Disney whereas the other one was only Universal.
