Any hope for a room/package discount for late June?

Going June 26th or 27th to July 2nd or 3rd.
We are planning to stay at PPH.
The lack of a discount would not change our minds but of course saving money would be great!
Is there any hope for a discount or am I most likely out of luck for those dates?

I seriously doubt it, the Grand Californian is going through as major refurb in 2017, and will have a reduced room inventory, placing more pressure on the DLH and PPH, plus with the Rivers of America reopening, I think you would be better off shopping the off-property Hotels, plenty of inventory and new Hotels in the area, and they are fighting for your business. And some of them are as close or closer than the PPH to the Main Entrance Plaza.

I would look at the new Hyatt House, Springhill Suites and Residence Inn near the corner of Harbor and Katella. All three come with a Free Hot Breakfast, walking distance to the parks, access to some great restaurants, the CVS and Walgreens for shopping, including grocery basics, and the Anaheim GardenWalk.

I stayed at Sheraton Park in June 2013.
I enjoyed it but I'd like to experience a DLR hotel this time.
Plus it will be myself, my friend, and her sister and they don't like bed sharing which means we need 3 comfortable places to sleep and PPH seems to fit the bill for that vs offsite hotels that have pull out sofas or roll a way cots that are not guaranteed.
As I said the lack of a discount will not change our plans so its not too big of a deal.
Just figured I'd see if there was hope lol.

First off, I mentioned three Suite style Hotels that have multiple beds, and they are guaranteed.

Disney only takes "requests" in regards to bed types, and are not guaranteed.

From what others have said on The DIS the standard is 2 queens and 1 daybed.
Sorry didn't realize that a suite immediately meant 3 beds as I've stayed in suite type hotels other places and they only had 1 bed and a pull out sofa.

When I mentioned the Hotels, SOME rooms have the 3 bed set-up, but if you book one, you are guaranteed that type of room, as compared to Disney, which doesn't guarantee them, just place a "request", which they can answer, sorry, we have none available, aka, tough luck.

Yeah after I looked them up myself I see that if I want something that does not inlcude a pull out it is gonna cost a pretty penny even compared to PPH.

Also FBLA will be staying in at least 2 of those hotels during our stay.
Last time there was never a second without 25 teens trying to fit into a hot tub made for 10 so we are trying to avoid staying where they are staying.

Highly doubtful. We frequently go that time of year as my son has a late June birthday and loves Disneyland. I've been able to get discounts occasionally in early June, but by the second half into July, it's full price and then some. The standard room at PPH is $370 or so that time of year per night. From what I remember, the daybed isn't very comfortable for an adult. My son is comfortable on it, but he's 6.

The reason people are recommending the offsite hotels is because you asked about discounts, for which there are none that time of year. They are a better price and honestly you'd get better accommodations based on what it sounds like you want. The Residence Inn by the convention center, a brand new hotel, it running around $190 for a basic room with 2 beds and a sofa bed and for $361 you can get a 2 BR executive suite.

It sounds like you really want to stay onsite, but if you really care about having 3 beds, it's just not the safest way to go. If you go with PPH, which it sounds like is your plan, enjoy it. Just keep in mind that someone should bring a sleeping bag in case you don't get a room with a daybed and for whatever reason can't make yourselves share.

There haven't been discounts that time of year for at least a few years, as stated earlier the discounts stop mid-June and don't return until kids are back in school in Aug.
