I keep having people tell me how they went to disney world for under 1,000. The point is i would love to take my FIL in feb cause he has taken us a few times now. We would have 3 adults and 1 child (she 4) does this sound doable now i'm talking about just the park hopper tickets and a vaule hotel.....

If you were planning on going for two days maybe, however for our family of 3 (at the time we didn't even have to pay for our DD) staying at a value WITH the Buy 4 get 3 free deal we were over 1000. This isn't including food or any of the extras which became needs once the Disney spirit hit! Good luck though!

Did you get specifics on how they did their trip for under $1000? Like did they have two children under 3? The last time we got it for that cheap was when our girls were really little, we stayed in a value, got hoppers only and had free dining. I think we stayed for 5 days?

I think that last year we just hit $1000 or were just under it, but that was total value season and we got free dining so we didn't have to pay for food, and that was also before airfare and we didn't have to pay for DD for any of it because she wasn't even 2 yet.

If you were staying off-site, had your own car and only stayed a few days, maybe? But even then I think the tickets would be your hardest part, I'm not sure that's possible...

Your largest cost will be tickets. For 3 adults and one child, I think you're already at $1000?

If you go more than one time in a year, an AP is a good deal sometimes. We've done that a couple of times; one year went 3 times.

There aren't any really huge discounts on the tickets, so that is where I'd start (budget-wise).

they stayed at the movies vaule it was 2 adults and 2 kids (1was under 2) and the dining plan she said she called and talk to a cm to set everything up she didn't have any kind of special promo. so i don't know you guys guess i'll have to call and be really nice!
