Hello all,

Checking into the BC in a few weeks. First time staying there. Is there anything I need to know about BC? Any particular room requests to make, etc? Have standard room. Only request I made was full balcony. Also, is there anything unique to the BC that I should try out?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I hope you enjoy your upcoming stay at my favorite resort!!!

My first piece of advice is to take a look at the first page of the Yacht & Beach Club FAQ post. There are a lot of pictures and tons of info about the resort. Click on the link in my signature, or use the link dansdad has provided (you beat me to it!)

Even if you don't want to read the whole thing, I suggest you check out Post 13 (FAQ) and Post 14 (Other Useful Info) as an overview. Some of your questions, like room requests, are covered there.

The basic thing to know about room requests is that requests vary based on your individual preferences. Full balcony is an important one. Then you need to decide what is best for you/your family.

These are some of the options:

Daybed
Close to EPCOT
Close to lobby/pool/transportation
First Floor or Upper Floor

Also, is there anything unique to the BC that I should try out?.

Beaches and Cream has good burgers and shakes - but the burgers are even better in the Crew's Cup Lounge next to the Yachtsman Steakhouse in YC. Try the lobster sliders too!

Not sure if u have kids or not, but be aware , unless they're really young and playing in 1 area, its very hard to keep an eye on them with the vast size of SAB. Also the lazy river has a swift current and is 8 ft deep there..... Not ideal for novice or intermediate swimmers. I had trouble keeping up every now n then.... just some food for thought. I've heard some good things about all the restaurans though. Especially cape may breakfast.

Love this place, staying there the 3rd week of July in a 2br Villa cant wait, Pool is greast and you are so close everything
