any guesses on crowd levels tomorrow (labor day)?

i know the touring plans website rates tomorrow's crowds as being relatively low, but i'm wondering if that's actually possible given that a) it's a holiday, and b) the whole free dining plan.

we're thinking of making it a day trip tomorrow, but don't want to go if it's going to be crowded. i know most of the on-property hotels are booked, and i took that as a bad sign. maybe everyone is just going home tomorrow?

any thoughts on tomorrow's crowds are appreciated.

I remind myself that the DDP is in part a way to attract more people during a time that isn't incredibley crowded. We have gone during Labor Day before. Most schools start before Labor Day, and pretty much all the rest start on Tuesday. People like to be hhome for the first days of the school year, as they are usually important to getting to know classmembers and the teacher. Orientations are usually a couplke of days before school starts as well. Lots of people would want to be at home getting good nights of sleep and getting back into the rythym of things in the days preceeding school. My guess is that there are plenty of Florida residents whose kids are a few weeks into the year taking a long weekend.

Get ready for the queues, we went to Epcot last week and the wait times were 90 minutes for Soarin and Test Track 110 minutes and that was at 6:30pm and 90 degrees heat. We didn't bother going on either. :sad2:
Had a lovely walk around the World Showcase though. :)

This is Julie not Johnny

We have gone at the end of August a few times. Crowds are lower in general then. But, one year we were there over the labor day weekend. We couldn't believe how low the crowds were on the holiday and after. School has started and the change is dramatic. We were at EPCOT on Labor Day, so that may contribute since that park handles crowds well. Can't speak to MK. Locals told us that Labor day was always a good time to go. Also, I find the unofficial guide folks to be dead on the money most times. So I guess I disagree with Julie.

IT is still super HOT!

We were in MK yesterday it was busy, but not mobbed. We didn't do much but ride the train to Toontown so she could ride Goofy's Barnstormer multiple times! The train was busy, and there was quite a line at Splash Mtn!

We will be heading back for few hours tomorrow! Got spoiled on Wednesday when no one was there due to the bad weather. DD's school was closed so we headed over and had an awesome time!
