Any guess about this upcomming discount

I found this under My Disney vacation at WDW web site:

It was under magical offers.Anyone have any guesses what it could mean.It's in January's news letter.

I called and the CM just said maybe it's a general ad for a special coming out or maybe new specials are going to be offered soon and to keep checking my email and newspapers. I asked if it could have anything to do with a code attached to my name and she said no. I asked if she could check and see if there was a code attached to my name and she immediately said, "No, there's not.", but I'm not sure she did much in-depth checking.

Oh, well...maybe we'll get a new special soon!??!

Yeah, I've been watching that site for about a week - and wishing and hoping!!!! Maybe, just maybe, something will come of it - lets all keep our fingers crossed!

Just got off the phone w/ call center and they mentioned that I had a 40% off pin code that I might be able to use on my current reservation....after the CM looked into it she said that marketing was testing offers in the system that are not valid yet and to check back. Hmmmmmmm.

I saw this too!!! I wonder what it's about?! I remember last year there was a big hoopla over a countdown clock that had been set and something about the YOMD...and it turned out to be pictures of celebs dressed as Disney characters...not so much amused!

perhaps it is something grand and fabulous...

I found it by going to the WDW page , then logging on, then clicking on "update my profile." Once on that update page one of the options, on a list to the left (the last one), is "Backstage Pass" - click on this. Then towards the bottom of this page is a window, with a family's pic on it....when you click on that you see the "offer" , that basically says "check back soon."

I know many of us are hoping there is something MAGICAL to come back to SOON!!!

I noticed a few weeks ago that there was a link called "magical offers" or something like that. It would say check back for special vacation offers. I checked it out periodically but it never changed. Now I don't see that link anymore but I see the box you are talking about.
