Any gty. assignments for March?

I've been keeping up with this thread for awhile -- still no news for me on the March 19th sailing. I've checked so many times that I now have my cruise reservation # memorized!

Ok another newbie here, we sail March 6 on the Dream. What IS a GTY??? maybe I have one and don't even know!

We got our assignements for the Mar 10 cruise 2 days ago.

Booked 8D GTY received 8A, interesting though it is one of those sideways 2 porthole rooms with the bed on one side and the living room on the other split by a real wall. The only drawback is that it does not have a split bathroom. No round tub just a roll in shower. It's just 3 nights so I can live with that. Hope the entrance to vibe is on the port side as we are on starboard.

You would probably know -- a GTY is when you have a room booked and paid for in a certain category (in my case, an 11C) but you have not been assigned a room yet. Usually assignments are handed out with 45 days or less to cruising. You are guaranteed a room in the category that you have booked or better. That is why we are all so anxious -- we want to know where we will be and are all hoping for an upgrade!

Well in that case I have my staterrom assignment I am a cat 4B.. room 8610.

Yay! I just looked tonight after looking twice already today. We got upgraded to a 6A from an 8D....room 9670. It's an aft balcony room so I'm anxious to see pictures.

You could also just log in, then click on Castaway Club at the top of the home page. It lists all of your past cruises and future cruises.

Finally got my assignment as well....we booked a 11C, got 11C.....oh well, at least we now have a room #. March 13th Dream.

We jutst received ours it is a 11C but it is a handicapped accessible which we didn't request and looks twice the size on the deck plan. We are cruising on March 10th

We booked a 5D for March 10th and received a 5A on Deck 10. Very happy!
